In that link Reed was doing what he had to, to snap Sue out of her psycho Malice persona. Reed didn't regularly smack Sue around whenever he was in a bad mood, like Pym.

Pym hit her once and that was more of a get the hell off me swipe it's not as if he went gunning for Janet.
Yes the smartest man in the world couldn't think of another way to overide mind control. But that's not what I meant by abuse. I've seen him talking to other heroes and telling her to shut up. That's still abuse, this was ripe during the 60's and 70's.

No it was because he was hungry and she was taking to long to feed him.

I'm not sure if someone asked for these scans. They are from Secret Invasion: Requiem and not the original comic.

Alright I'll keep looking for it I think it was in a Tony Stark vs. Reed who is the bigger jerk thread 'twas about whether Reed got off easy, the one I have in mind is Reed talking to a General and Susan is told to shut up as men are talking and there were a few like that. I did find these which are far milder then the scans I saw on that site.
