the hilarious thing is.. that's the true Superman's personality. He ****s with people. He's a trickster aspect to some degree based in Jewish culture. Hence him laughing at everyone who doesn't realize he's Clark(*wink*). the thing is he seemingly ****s with people.. to teach them lessons, like those old 50's Tv shows. the gag is his seeming cruelty, but the twist is that he was helping teach for example Jimmy, to not be an ******* to others, or for Lois to not be such a ***** to meek ol Clark. Siegel said that a sense of humor is very important to a Superman portrayal.
