Jake got bugged so much as a kid that he grew to hate the character and regret his decision for life. Then he got bugged or asked about it more because he pretty much quit acting and never got a big role that anyone would know him from besides Anakin.

*insert line to try and connect with him because you know nothing about the guy*

And a little piece of him dies everytime. Spread that out over almost 20 years and it's enough to drive a Jake Loyd bananas. Everytime he ran in school kids probably shouted podracing lines.

You ever listen to "outtakes" of voice actors doing, say, Snarf or Lion-O? All very, very dirty humor.
@bran. I suppose, like i think those roles for better or worse change you. JC in T2 was a heartthrob in the 90s. He was probably the single most recognizable kid in Amurica from one of the most iconic movies ever. To not be able replicate that initial hype has got to be like tramatic. I think if i were to ever be that popular id had to enlist a group of people to help keep me grounded.
