Rather large retcon as his powers always came from Tanaraq
So Hulk = Sasquatch, but generally Walter doesn’t have the right mindset. He can “hulk” out as has done so but his power boost doesn’t come from tanaraq (he only made walter hairy) but from his gamma ie hulk abilities. Big difference from past continuity but he did say in an interview he was going to do that

So yes under Ewing, Hulk and Sasquatch in that fight were supposed to be complete equals. I thought Brian said walter wasn’t using his powers right I thought he was referring to killing as his speech let into that and then murdered the guard but meant tap into his powers
So...basically, Walter "can never" reach Hulk-level strength, but Brian can because of his psychological issues....ergo, nothing really changes for Sasquatch: He is in fact not Hulk-level and never has been, and the only difference now is that he's less interesting now and an even bigger Hulk knock-off?

Correct under the new retcon. So when tanaraq took control and had magical abilities such as soul attacks that’s gamma powers as tanaraq just only made him hairy
Walter has “hulked” out in the past and tapped into his powers more, but under Ewing he wanted to ignore that past continuity. Mentioned that in an interview. Guess he really meant it
But always said many times Hulk > Sasquatch, so that’s no difference.

I know Logan was a part of an alternate FF but did he ever join the team in an actual canon book?
I see what they did there, but I'm kind of surprised they didn't call Doom and Namor to join the fray. Norrin and those two are really core elements of the FF extended cast.
