Mind you, I've stopped the insults after being warned, while others have continued. Anyone mocking poverty in India was making fun of that. People clowning the hygienic situation and infrastructure in India are making fun of that-- innocent people are dying en masse, and it's a joke to certain people who think laughing at a condition innocent people are dying from is a joke from behind their computer when discussing superhero characters. and it's especially perverse if it's anyone from Britain, which is directly responsible for the economic condition there.

The first part, depending on the context, can vary from funny, to in bad taste, to being an unfunny *******. Based on what I've seen thrown at abhi, they're not trying to be funny [i.e. what most of the jokes in the off-topic thread are], but actual ignorant mean things.

But attacking a guy through his daughter's cancer? That is straight up evil.
