I was expecting something poor, but those 3 scenes showed a Thor far more mature than what Aaron is writing in Avengers (Who's basically a Hercules stand-in tbh). Not sure how Gentle styled on Thor but keep posting more scenes like that.

Why is Thor retarded? If this was Hercules, it would be fine, but it suits Thor's character not at all. Hercules is the womanizing, dimwitted Godling. Thor's the Captain America of Immortals.

Yep, that's Hercs schtick.

It works for him, because people expect him to be dim witted, and he repeatedly proves he's actually very clever. If Thor tries that, it just makes him look dumb.
