What would you guys think about creating an "Ownage Discussion" thread..? It would be a separate thread where the ownage of the week could be discussed ad nauseum, so that the scans here wouldn't continuously get buried.

Great idea, there's always topics that naturally fill up a thread. If people want to reference scans that have been uploaded they can quote them then say "Hulk was x Superman was x today".

Any non scan related comment gets removed maybe I dunno.

^ I mentioned the idea to Digi years ago, but he never did anything with it that I am aware of.

Commenting on a feat here and there isn't an issue. It's the continuous arguing of feats that buries the scans and derails this thread. Obviously that's not going to stop, so creating a separate thread where the feats/ownage posted here could be discussed and argued to your heart's content(as long as things stay civil) seems like a possible resolution.

Wanted to see what you guys thought about the idea before I did anything with it.

I'd suggest maybe sticky-ing both threads.

This thread will, basically, be forever used. But the other one would get buried, and those who don't read that it exists and it should be used, won't do so.

If this forum wasn't awfully primitive we could just have threads under each scan and be able to switch swiftly through them.

New idea: we quit this old _ss forum and move into somewhere decent?
