Lol, Thor never changed. Aaron just treated him like a moppy POS because having an unconcluded plotline about Thor's daddy issues for a hammer for two years is considered good, deconstructive writing by some. It started with Jane lifting Mjolnir.
Even when Nick Fury did his stupid whisper, Aaron had Thor as the big dog and clearly looking superior to the Hulk. Then Hickman took over Unworthy Thor, and treated him with mad respect throughout the entire Incursion storyline. It was when he came back as a punk that it was weird.
Originally posted by Rage.Of.Olympusnot too sure about that. Even before Secret Wars, Thor was being a mopey punk over how he lost his hammer while Jane was straight up using powers that Thor never even tapped into before (God, I hate that sort of writing). Didn't Thor also give up his own name and lose an arm before Incursion?

I usually don't like these flashback / character personality issues but I thought this one was great. So far I'm positively suprised by this event in general.
The event IS surprisingly good. Spidey tends to have some good arcs here and there when compared to most other Marvel characters.
