I want to like Hickman having a run on X-Men, but so far he's losing me big time.

First issue was awesome, and Deodato's art fits surprisingly well here. 👆

Image comics. It's a Kirkman work.

Thanks Galan, and yeah, Berserker looks pretty cool as well.

Oh, crap.

You had me up until "Kirkman".

Much as I loved Invincible, he just can't help screwing with his audience. I bet he's Facebook buddies with Bendis, and they have a running competition about how hard they troll their fans.

Don't be silly, Kirkman always delivered.

Bendis always repeats the "talking heads" scenes, all stuffed with the nonsense he writes. Which, admittedly, is sometimes funny... but gets boring and even embarrassing when repeated for the 879th time.

They are nothing alike.

😂

Most powerful version of Galactus is only universal.

Where is it saying he is only universal?

Did you read the scans?

he doesn't know how to

anyway Galactus being a universal force is a given, he merged with the equivalent of previous universe eternity, it's part of his powerset

I'm asking you.

Mentions it a few times...

Eternity: “You, I, and one other remain outside of a collapsed universe”

Eternity: “ I am the embodiment of universal sentinence”

Mephisto: “what remains of the universe is a tightly wound mass...”

So him being attacked by Strange and the after effects destroying the Universe makes him only Universal?

Apparently yes. This was his ultimate “destruction” which as noted was a universe.

Not like it’s a low showing as makes sense with galactus history and there being many versions of him in the multiverse

They definitely have different strengths as writers.

Kirkman DOES deliver, you're right. He can write a very satisfying story when he wants to.

He also delivers things like, Mark trying to reform Doctor Dinosaur, and ending up with one quarter of the entire Earth under water. Whoops Mark.

That, or just having him raped. Shock for shock's sake, essentially.

Hate talking about cosmics but didnt LT die some time back by the Beyonders? I feel confident his death didnt destroy the Universe because I remember the Avengers taking a piece of his skin when he landed on the moon. If that's the case, arguing like this, wouldn't that make Galactus>>>>>>>>>LT?
