Someone said it's Sentry from the cancerverse which makes sense considering what he's saying. The book is certainly canon, it's Annihilation Scource Alpha #1.

If they did that, they'd have to come up with something else to write about, and atm i don't think they're able for such terribly hard work.

As others said, it's a different version of Bob.

But honestly man, Marvel ignores little things like that all the damn time... that's what happens when you can't hire competent editors for those books.

He was already back in those yellow pyjamas in Marvel Knights 20th, if memory serves.
