Superman alone would rip his head off. There are few things that would piss Superman off, and I’m sure rape is one them.
The fact that light wasn’t unanimously voted to get kill by the League after the rape he committed was one of the dumbest storyline ever written. Especially with Diana being an Amazon and all.

Can you name a single time Superman killed a relative mortal? Sure he's killed Doomsday, but Doomsday is an unstoppable monster who isn't even sapient. Certain villains like Darkseid or Doomsday cross a threshold to where Superman will abandon his code.
Dr. Light doesn't cross that threshold. Do you have a single example other than the Supergirl Saga of Superman killing a fully sapient mortal in relatively recent canon (do not @ me with golden age).

Imperiex, Doomsday, Brainiac, Darkseid, even to an extent Cyborg Superman are godlike figures whose continued existence threatens entire worlds.
Even Batman relaxes the rule against cosmic menaces like Darkseid.
Dr. Light is not up to any of those villains' calibers.

I'm gonna disagree.
Okay, first of all, Diana wasn't there, so the likes of her weren't involved in the decision (unless they retconned it).
Two... part of the point of superheroes is that they're morally qualified to make decisions that "normal" people aren't. You trust people like Cap and Superman because by and large, they don't usually fall victim to impulse and the lure of vengeance.
And no, Superman wouldn't tear his head off. Not even if he raped Lois.
Look at the reactions of people like Wally, Ollie, Hal and Dinah in Identity Crisis. Just messing with Light's brain alone was considered an absolutely massive violation (a mind-rape if you will), and the consequences of it all ended up causing massive rifts in the League when it all came out.
I will agree, though, that Superman would be willing to kill if pushed far enough. He just hasn't been pushed that far by someone that can't destroy a planet yet.
