Character Ownage

Eh, maybe Cosmic All Father Thor returns and fights him.

'Normal' Thor fought his Grendel ages ago, and the lightning bolt made his symbiotes all turn on him.

With the amps Cates has given Thor, he should one shot him with his pinky.

Shaw, utterly owned.

There's more ownage but I couldn't fit it lol

Ugh

I dk if it makes me a bad person but I hate pandering like this. They just come off as so unlikeable.

Just painful, almost physically so.

Shaw is going to make those bitches pay for it.

Jesus christ this was retarded

"Great" work Marvel. Make your (supposed) heroes revel in the maim, torture, and murder of a helpless opponent. Even Storm.

(Let alone all the ridiculous PIS that went along with it.)

Disgusting.

I love how everyone is using the resurrection chambers as an excuse for that shit.

Even Magneto.

Wolverine is the only one with a brain and told him that no amount of resurrections can erase trauma caused by death.

Wow... that X-Men stuff. That behavior is disgusting do these characters even pretend to call themselves heroes anymore? What are these writers doing to these characters? I mean White Queen is one thing but what happened to the rest of them?

Any truth to that rumor that a bunch of the current X-Men are actually impostors of some kind?

That was hard to watch.

That poor booze.

Lol that wasn't even the end of the humiliation.

At the end, they wheel him to the council meeting in Prof X's old wheelchair, and he is now their puppet:

Lol @ Mystique just saying no. GIRL POWAH

Where Magneto travels to space under his own power, then moves a 1,000 ton station, whilst carrying out an inspection, walking, chewing gum, and utterly disrespecting Fabian Cortez:

Also, bonus art which has him looking incredibly pervy, for Phildo.

This is well beyond "girl powah". Honestly if you reversed the genders in that scenario it would be actually be more insulting toward men because it paints the perpetrators as vindictive, sadistic, irrational, hate-driven, immoral, dishonest, unethical etc - basically evil. Actually quite a few super-villains out there would probably draw the line at stuff like this.

Emma and Mystique, fine that's probably believable. But once upon a time Storm and Pryde were better characters than that. The writers are killing them.

Hickman made X-Men villains, and doesn't seem to care.

"Haha! Got your eye!"

Jesus ****ing christ, they're monsters.

Villains? No.

But they aren't licking humanity's boots anymore.

They needed to adapt. Old ways clearly weren't working.

My problem with the Shaw ownage (other than the fact that feeble females did it) is that we can't really respect him as a villain after that, not unless he plans some big revenge.

We disagree then, because I'd consider a whole bunch of shit they've been doing to be villainous.

All they're doing right now is proving humanity right about mutants, imo.

What do you think counts as crossing the line?

Making pollen which saves human lives? I agree, that makes them villainous; all humans should burn vin

😂

Calm down Alberto.

But seriously, what do you think is the worst they've done so far?

Excluding the Shaw pwnage, something he's had coming for entire decades (as poorly as that scene was handled, he still deserved far worse).

The worst? I don't know, but for me a lot of the shit they've been doing has been pretty shady. Not just offering amnesty to villains but actively working with them. We talked about how I feel about the whole Mystique/Destiny thing too.

Honestly, it feels like when people talk about Game of Thrones and will like one character that's an out and out scumbag and side with them, purely because there's an even bigger scumbag nearby. Like the enemies the X-Men has been fighting.

I have the distinct feeling Krakoa is going to be another Danger Room, and that mutants as a whole are going to suffer for it.
