A sucker punch, and taking a weak assed Iron Fist, is hardly "stalemating him with one hand".

That's not even a fight.

How is it a sucker punch when Danny was threatening Tasky and looking right at him? 🙂

Honestly, I'm ok with this. Taskmaster gets jobbed out a lot, like with the Mr. X throwdown.

He should totally be an S+ tier street, that needs hax or meta+ power to overcome.

How was it jobbing against X?

He bested Cat there with no effort.

X is just that good, knows extraterrestial martial arts and his telepathy allows him to anticipate every move.

Taskmaster jobbing = his showings against Deadpool.

Because Taskmaster can fast forward to meta speeds.

Even if X is that good, he was dropped way too easily relative to everyone else X has fought, like Logan.

remember when thor had the brains to use lightning against knull and it was effective? but he then proceeds to meelee knull for no f@#!ing reason and gets stabbed, again, "sigh"

He didn't have that ability then. We discussed it already.

You're suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

Plus the fast forward is kinda useless against X. We can discuss this in the discussion thread though.

Well, hes got a drinking problem so...

Thor actually used lightning against Knull when he arrived.

Doesn't that happen with all characters? I'm lost on why this is just held against Thor?

It does, but Thor has a plethora of options that he uses once every few years.

Also, for me, it completely takes me out of the story when the entire universe is at stake and a hero doesn't use their best abilities or their full power.

He could rain lightning down across the planet or simply bfr just the symbiote in a couple seconds but instead he breaks his jaw and just walks away like a dumbass

So the fast forward ability came after Mr. X was introduced?

Never seen it in action, just assumed it was some obscure ability out of the 90's.

Yes.

We already talked about this, for fuck's sake:

UDON Taskmaster mini-series was released in April, 2002 (first issue).

The comic with the first part of the Bloodsport tournament (in which Tasky beats Shen) was released in October, 2001.

So there you go. No way that ability could've been shoehorned there then, as it simply didn't exist.

And that trick wasn't used outside of that one mini-series, anyway.

He ran out of juice.
