Carver wouldn't keep information from us on purpose

Clearly he didn't read the comic, that's the more feasible explanation!

You're saying that as if carter can read.

Carver would destroy all of you in a BZ.

............

On a completely unrelated note, the League are stumped and spend a good portion of time analysing Hawkgirl's mace as it seems to affect Brutus.

Superman remembers how he moved a planet.

mmm

That's....that's Pre-Crisis, World's Finest #192 was in 1970.

And the comic directly referred it.

No, the visit to the country is pre crisis.

Doesnt matter tbh, Since now all eras' feats are available for Superman as we can see the comic directly referred a pre-crisis storyline

That's what I meant. It directly references an event that took place in a comic from 1970, almost as if it is all.....one timeline now.

👆 the only thing I know existed in 1970 was led zeppelin

As Bran would say

"That's so carver"

I love the art

I lol'ed.

Lovely little fight between Knull-possessed Cable and Manifold, before he copies DS85's strategy and teleports the Sun to Earth:

Also, more inconsistent writing. Symbiotes are still susceptible to fire and sonics, it seems.

What I love is that Knull for some reason just kept all those mutants captive in cocoons instead or using them like he's using the Avengers, X-Men and other heroes on earth in the core series.

The tie ins are so all over the place, it's like the writers were briefed like this:

Editor: You know symbiotes?

Writer: yes.

Editor: Well they have a god now and he uses symbiote dragons and is trying to turn the universe dark again, he reached earth now. Go for it. You will write [enter book name].

The core series has made clear as day that fire and sonic is useless, they only things that work are electricity and intense sunlight. The Miles Morales tie in actually had a dragon covered in symbiote goo as one of Knull's dragons. The Valkyrie tie in made an entire story about the Necrosword meanwhile nothing is confirmed in the core series or the handbook that Knull actually still has it. And don't get me started on Hulkling / Wiccan...

It is an absolute shame, this event could have been dope af.

Also don't forget Lockheed ripping them apart lol.

Yeah while at the same time The Hand of Bast, which is supposed to take on the Phoenix, takes on (explicitly stated) one Dragon and that tie in states that the symbiotes actually adapt and nothing would work a second time. And Gwenom fights "Carnage" a random dragon symbiote that possessed a non 616 Mary Jane, so it has neither the original host nor the original symbiote. The editor should get fired, the level of incompetence here is off the charts.

Yep. Was just a throwaway page at the end of the story but was so good 👆
