Yeah, when it comes to animated movies DC has Marvel by light years. I don't get why Sony isn't doing some animated direkt to video Spider-Man movies.

Probably not enough incentive. It's odd because into the spider verse was so well received

According to wiki, Into the Spider Verse made 375.5 million at box office, meaning before DVD sales.

And the 40+ direct to release DC Animated movies have, combined, made about 237 million in DVD sales.

Sony must look at those stats and think that making a direct to video Spider-Man movie would be crazy.

It is astounding how big the gap in quality is between Doc Ock in the Devil's Reign main books and his "Superior Four" mini. DR main book Ock is probably my fave ever (at least in his own body) while the mini is absolutely abyssmal...
