All canon. Stilt and Phildo working overtime.

Yes, but someone sabotaged our script and put that Thor panel there, smh.

Original script had Scott murdering Thor in pure hand-to-hand, without needing to resort to his optic blasts even once.

I must have some words with Dambo.

Never work with Cap's vibranium shield.

It's not vibranium, dumbass.

Duh, it's imaginary Cap in an imaginary scenerio.

Walker's shield is made out of vibranium. Steve's shield is a special mix.

And you can't even spell "scenario" now?

Originally, Magneto's powers worked on the shield. Fact.

Shield was immune to Erik's powers only once in history. Fact.

Mags keeps playing with the shield in both 616 and alternate realities more often than you peek on your sister - fact.

Steve also used a vibranium shield for a time, gifted from some obscure leader of a third world nation. 😇

That being said, I like the idea of shield being immune to magnetism.

But it simply didn't last... same case with Wolverine. He's also had such showings. Don't see you defending him the same way 😛

I remember this kid I knew had OLD trading cards, information on the back said he was immune for having "alien metal".

There was also something about the claws being implants, with a skeletal shot of the components.

Actually, the shield doesn't even have to be ferromagnetic in order for Magneto to stop it.

As long as the shield is made of any metal (as opposed to, say, wood or ceramic) Magneto can stop it by using eddy current brake (i.e. induction brake).

Bet he couldn't stop nth metal.

Well, magic can negate laws of physics in comics.

Come to think of it, has anyone ever compiled a list of objects/substances (not characters) that have been immune to Magneto's powers?

That's true... and you also need to consider how Magneto's powers get really wacky in comics, allowing him to open wormholes and whatnot.

At this point, while fully powered, his only true limit is writer's imagination, tbh.

Magnetic powers usually get wanked to hell if the writer wants to

Proteus is another example for Magneto. Even the c list villains like Dr Polaris could create black holes, never mind Magneto

Anyway, I really wouldn't mind if Cap's shield was 100% Magneto-proof. I like the idea and it was written by Claremont himself.

But we can't say it definitely still is immune based on one comic.

It's like Nvr arguing Diana was as impervious as Superman to bullets based on some outlier. Hard to take it seriously.

The scene of Superman breaks Faust's illusion was actually pretty cool

I'm sure many guys in DC universe are well aware of that... 😄

We should bump the Thor's thread someday 😛
