havent been reading but what made Tasky think he can take out doom?

Isn't Doom's armor on a similar level to Iron Man's as far as durability is concerned?

Yeah, and that's to say nothing about other tech he has on hand or mysticism that he can invoke.

Seems a lot of writers leave out that he's a powerful sorcerer. I don't recall reading many FF issues where it featured prominently that didn't revolve around his mother's soul and/or feature Mephisto and its almost always left out in adaptations.

To be fair, if you (Osbourne) are part of a team where you are the weakest member, can you really get away with bringing in someone even weaker than yourself? I love Taskmaster and all, but I'd honestly refuse to even go if I were him. Even Ares wouldve looked less out of place.

That was part of what the comic showing Taskmaster joining the Cabal was about. That even in the beginning he knew what he would be going in, a pawn. He made the decision though to go for it because it was his chance even though he knew he would be outclassed.

And of course he obviously regrets that decision now 😛

well currently doom used a combination of science and magic to make the equivalent of the destroyer armor in the thor issues.

i don't think that armor could match the real one

what i said has nothing to do with whether it matches the real one. only that some writers are showing doom is using magic.
