I have an imageshack account but I still don't understand how people get the pics for scans.

you buy the comicbook and you scan it on your scanner upload it to image shack when your done.

That's like one of those times when someone talks to you for an asslong time and suddenly you look at him and ask: You're talking to me?

laughing

the look on their face after is the best. they're thinking if they even want to say all that shit all over again but they know you don't care.

I do that all the time.

It was pretty obvious that the bullet was going to hit Vulcan, he didnt even see it coming.

Because he didn't know the shooter was there, he was preoccupied with other things.

There was nothing showing that the bullet was any different than earths bullet. Prove that it was.

It was fired from an alien gun, by an alien, on another planet? 😕

How does that not make it different?

Vulcan has no light speed showings and if Vulcan has them then that also mean that you are trying to say that Despero ALSO have light speed reaction/reflexes. Do you honestly believe this?

Based on that scan you showed me, which saw Despero flying through space to a planet? That's not proof of lightspeed since we don't know the distance or time. So unless you post some context for that it's unquantifiable. But Vulcan does have FTL showings.

Here he is outrunning the Shi'ar fleet, which is obviously FTL (as they can cross interstellar distances without taking years):

Here he is destroy the Inhuman robots launched from a Kree ship while in hyperspace:

Naah, I dont think thats a light speed feat

If you're talking about Cyclops' optic blasts, then I would intend to agree. Although they have been lightspeed sometimes, they are very inconsistent when it comes to their speed.

but the argument is that since Vulcan flew in space he has light speed reaction/reflexes which he has never shown.

It's more than just "flying in space", it's crossing distances in a shorter time than light would take. That's FTL by definition.

You apparently don't seem to understand the difference between

- Character is shown flying through space

And

- Character is shown flying through space from Point A to Point B in time C, where the distance from A to B divided by C = ligthspeed or greater. This is a very simply concept that you continually refuse to comprehend.

Then we also have Gladiator saving him from a bullet to the head but Mike is saying that the bullet that was coming at Vulcan was going at light speed since it was shot from a alien gun.

I'm saying that you can't make assumptions about an unknown alien technology which we have no information on, so you can't use it as a point against him.

Well, me and Mike been debating this for a while (at least a year) and I put up a scan with Despero flying through space and he is saying that since Despero has a light speed feat (flying through space) and he has to dodge meteors and planets while flying through space that means that he has light speed reflexes, etc....

That's not what I said.

I THEN show him Ironman flying to the sun and back with Sentry in a couple of panels and he said that Ironman has special suits made that should allow him to pull off light speed feats.

If he's really able to make it to the sun and back in a few minutes then he would have to be moving faster than light. There's no denying this.

I should mention one more thing about the bullet incident: Gladiator thought it could have killed him. So either Gladiator was severely underestimating him, or it was certainly not a normal bullet. Why? Even if we imagine that he was somehow not fast enough to block it and it only traveled at the speed of a normal bullet from earth, how could a bullet kill him? We saw in War of Kings that he can rebuild his body from almost getting completely destroyed by Black Bolt. There's no way a normal bullet could kill him. So we know it wasn't one.

^PLease where's that from???

Birds of Prey #63 "A Matter of Honor"

Thanks!

I don't think Vulcan ever rebuilt himself before facing Blackbolt though, Gladiator wouldn't know if he could tank such attack.

ownage pure and simple.
