Kind of played out now. I know comics sometimes leave these characters perpetually at a young age, but either way he's a veteran hero now. Those lame wise cracks should be left to the rookies.

He got a fellow hero distracted before the immediate threat was neutralized. If he came in at the end of the battle and she got taken out by a sniper, that would be different.

Also I've never understood why characters like Mocking Bird, Wolvie et al don't have better weapons, more versatile weapons.

Wolverine should always have projectile weapons on him, Mocking Bird and her ilk as well.

Well, Wolverine doesn't like guns... as for other ranged weapons, he says that he doesn't really need them. He has incredible control over his claws.

That being said, there was an instance when he regretted he didn't have a habit to carry an uzi with him.

Cage got enough panel time and "zomg awesome" moments. It's time to move on. He's leading T-Bolts, ain't that enough? When I get myself a New Avengers book, I want to read about New Avengers, not about Cage and his skank ho.

You know what really pissed me off? At the end of Dark Avengers (which I consider a great book), Luke appears out of f****** nowhere and cheapshots Lester. That was too much for me. Bendis had to put him everywhere.

He's facing a foe that can shoot energy bolts (that can fry his flesh) from meters away and his first countermeasure/s is/are... his claws.

The guy needs to be better prepared. That goes for any hero without great durability or ground shaking strength that doesn't carry projectiles to compensate for a lack of ranged abilities.

This shouldn't always be the case, but if he has time to prepare...

I don't think it would. Would it hurt to bring more than a knife to a gun fight?

I'm not asking the guy to be Batman or Punisher, but it wouldn't hurt to look less ridiculous in those types of encounters.

Most of the time he then suprises them or they simply forget about the advantage and go melee. Usually it would make sense from time to time though.

Why is she a skank? Im not up to date on NA but during DR the other Avengers got enough face time.

Lester kinda sucked. Luke has one-shoted Ironclad whos gone toe-to-toe with the Hulk, no Bendis.
