I'm ambivalent about the DD thing.
I liked the fight on one hand, I thought it was pretty awesome how Henshaw was portrayed so high above Supergirl in physical terms (her best blows barely effect DD while he tears DD in half with one attack) and how Doomsday not only immediately regenerated half his body but also later oneshotted Supergirl.
Yet on the otherhand I'm not too sure this writer understands Henshaw all that well. Him caring about how he dies seems OOC to me, and the idea of DD adapting cybernetic parts to fight a technopath seems counter intuitive.

So he whupped Henshaw.....by evolving robotics and some kind of ability to inhibit his technopathy and powers? Meh, it's Doomsday. But even for him, this is kinda rediculous. srug I hope they don't job him out.

I'm not knocking the feats -- I was glad to see Bill pull some cool storm stuff, and Surfer bust out his regeneration powers; it's the writing that bugs me. Surfer is my favorite character, but that line about "pure awesomeness in a chrome shell" or whatever it is is amateurish and stupid; I can do without everyone oo-ing and awe-ing over each other, thanks. And man, those weird bodies, those pointy faces! How in god's name do some of these people get jobs?
Henshaw was crazy in this issue.
He was regenerating like Lobo, was strong enough to punch practically half of Doomsday's body off (does any other high herald have even anything close to this?), his energy blasts were tearing through him from one side to the other; he was going one on one even after Doomsday transformed himself into Cyborg Doomsday and holding his own despite the fact that his powers were messed up; Saint Walker saying that he was more far more powerful than Boddika, an Alpha Lantern, even only just witnessing his technopathy is quite something, aswell.
It's ridiculous to say that Supergirl outperformed Henshaw - she was going all-out and all she did was punch Cyborg Doomsday's cyborg left side off, before being distracted and one-shotted.
Either way, this was an insanely good showing for both of them.
