PIS. thor doesn't need help teleporting anyone anywhere

thor then teleports the destroyer back to earth soon after to help with the dark gods

Like I said, having Thor on teams where the second most powerful guy is usually Iron Man isn't going to have things turn out well for him.

It's not the first time this kind of shit happened. During Busiek's run, Rogers told him to battle field remove an amalgam Hulk and Thor said he was unsure because it depended on the waxing/waning of seasons. He pulled it completely out of his ass to explain why Thor didn't just end it. I like Busiek, really nice guy and he has good stories, but at times his Thor portrayals, particularly the characterization, was just bad.

Thor once quit the Avengers because he was more powerful than all of them put together and powering himself down to their level started having a real profound effect. Thor started forgetting how to fight like a God. He shouldn't be a full time member. Just bring him in when you want the biggest gun to take someone out.

I think they just need more big guns, justice league style. I think there is also a problem finding good threats for a powerful team -- unlike DC, which has lots of really great high-end villains, Marvel has relatively few villains that fall between high herald and trans-level, which basically just leaves a lot of push-overs, plotters/artifact stealers, and cosmic threats. For instance, if Thor was on an avengers line-up (and i'm throwing in the dead here), with Sersi, old sentry, green scar, dr. strange, x-man, or folks like that, coming up with convincing threats is not going to be easy with Marvel's present policy of recycling old characters in preference to making new ones.

then you just get monster of the week threats, phuck that

the avengers have a rich history, and they have reasons for the formation of the team, it's not just because they want to amass as much power as they can. you're also forgetting the personalities of the characters you want to build a team out of

like rage said, thor has though that the avengers were far beneath his level of power, with a more guys around his level give or take he'd just leave, and i suppose some of the other ones will too....like they did in the actuall comics.

I am actually a huge fan of monster of the week threats -- cosmic cataclysm of the week threats not so much. Character development is also incredibly overrated in superhero comics -- when I want psychological realism I read novels (preferably by dead people -- though not necessarily white or male).

I noticed that an Asgardian blade noticeably outperformed Wolverine's claws. 😉

Did it? It looked to me like her blade was completely deflected, while Wolverine's actually drew blood? I don't know, maybe you can tell me if I'm reading that wrong, but that 's what it looks like to me 😬

Luthor did not knew supes can breath in space so he provided air but big blue did not need it

Then why did Superman hop into a space ship claiming that he was about to run out of air?

What? How did you come to that conclusion? Look at the scan again bro:

Her sword was nearly hilt deep while I can see the tips -or close to it- of Wolverine's claws. If DeFalco said his claws didn't do anything to his hide, I wouldn't be surprised.

And that splashy thing is part of the pavement I'd wager and not whatever Mangog has for blood. Maybe an impact point.

He was talking about mr mind's air brah

Thanks for posting that large picture. With the smaller one, I couldn't tell if those movement lines were movement lines, or the blade itself 😆 Yeah, hers definitely went deeper, though it's a reach to say that the blood is pavement. That part I'm pretty sure is blood. Like I said, thanks, I wasn't sure with the smaller scan (the yellow surrounding the blade completely obscured it, making it look like the blade was turned) that's all I wanted to see.

When I first saw this, my initial thought was "I don't think even the Thor fans are dumb enough to actually say that's the pavament". 😂

I assumed not being able to see a large picture was the problem hence the enhanced image.

My initial reaction was it being blood as well but the lack of such an effect around the Valkyrie's weapon when Wolverine's claws, if they did penetrate his hide, were much less successful than her blade doesn't make much sense to me. Maybe it's an impact effect? If not, the artist f*cked up imo.

I guess the best thing to do would be to ask the writer himself.

Shush.

The grown ups are talking. When you can tell the difference between Sif, Thor and Loki, you can participate. Maybe.

Most grown-ups aren't retarded.

Go back in the corner and start reading those children books (those that take even less comprehension ability than comic books, that is - because not even images accompanying the story seem to help you), maybe your comprehension level will get up a few notches, and you'll be able to compete with first graders.

Sh!t just got real
