Is Your Man on the floor!? If He Aint Let me Know!...

So lets say youre at a party, club, get together, Barmitsfa...what have you, and you see a nice looking girl in a corner or standing off to the side, and appears to be alone, and you ask her to dance. Only to figure out not too long after when you have Big Man Bubba standing right behind you ready to pounce on you at your next breadth, that shes taken....

Was she fair game to go up to and as to dance?
