The choices of the American Peolpe

What would you rather have? A wolf that lets you know up-front he's gonna eat you (Republican). Or a sly wolf that had you between his teeth before you even know what happened (Democrat). Those are the choices of the American people. So who did you choice? Who are you going to choose? And ultimately are you gonna choose at all?
THey really only give you two choices. Republican or Democrat. There are others but they don't have fanicial support so two people are just thrown in your face and you choose either one. So which do you support, the sublte poision or the obvious one? Would you rather die slower or faster?

I don't trust either of them. Last time I voted Republican But, I'll probably vote 3rd party this next time after researching the candidates.

Well if a wolf tells you he is gonna eat you you'll have time to defend yourself. 😛

so very true...

That was a weird analagy with the whold wolf thing...

got it from Malcom X. He said something like that once upon a time.

I find it so funny that there are so many americans saying "I'd vote third party but they won't win anyways" ....everyone who says that missed the purpose of democracy. Oh and if all people who say thery would vote independents would actually vote them it would look very different. That being said the American democracy is so ****ed up that it's not even worth repairing...make a whole new one I say.

And the German version is infallible, is it?

The only problem with the US system is money, but in just about all systems you will find some sort of artificial requirement for the job.

Yes, totally infailable.

[edit]This, by the way, was sarcasm.

Indeed, money makes things moving...I've never heard of a nation that functions without money.

North America before Columbus 😐

*sigh* really i do wish we had other parties to chose from rather than just 2

We have plenty. They just aren't shown to you. The Socialists, Independents and many other others (forgot what they were). In the last election there were 4 other parties running other than Republic and Democrat.

damn my slowness...i 4got lol yea but it sucks how we dont really give those party a chances dont ya thnk? i mean the reason why people dont vote for these parties is because they dont really know that much about them. I think the media should shed more spotlight on them, cuz most of the time, if not all of the time, all we hear about is the debate about Democrats and Republicans.

the whole point is for you not to know. so there is not a "free vote". there is no such thing as "people's choice". everything is subtly guided. They don't care who you pick as long as you pick Republic or Democrat. That's why their the "major" parties.

Libretarian is the way to go: Everything you can love about both the Democrats and the republicans.
