How long do you wait before you call them?

At the moment I feel like me and this girl are kinda playing a game who will call or msg eachother first 😂 I dont want to call her or msg me untill she calls or sends me a msg first........

Opinions please 🙂

this is so very sad but... nobody ever gave me their number before...

I usually wait 2 days before I call her. If I get her number on friday night, I would usually wait till Sunday afternoon to call. If I get it during the week I usually call on thursday to make plans with her for the weekend.

3 days, standard rule.

Hm, I tried 3 days but it doesnt leave enough time to make plans within the same week. I like 2 days because you have 5 days to go out.

It depends on the person giving me their number. If it's someone I like then I might wait three or four days. If it's someone that I don't particularly like, then I never call them. If it's someone that I really enjoy being around or find particularly attractive, then I might wait a day or two.

But, then again, if someone has given me their number, then I see that as them making the first move, so there's no need to be coy about contacting them. Now, if you asked for the number, then you've already made the first move yourself...so calling in the next day or so is just the next logical step.

Don't wait too long. It might come across as disinterest.

Well personally, I wouldn't call/message straight away but 2 or 3 days sounds good... and absence does NOT make the heart grow fonder.

If they havent called for a few days, call them and make plans for the weekend or something. Its no good waiting for the other to call, you have to do it yourself at some point.

I just want her to know I am interested and am scared if I wait 3 days she might think I am not

She got my number, I have known her about a year but we have only just gotten ''closer'' lately

She got it of her brother, I am mates with him.

I dont usually bother with asking for numbers unless I want to follow it up, so she'll probably ring sometime.

So, am I to assume that this is the chick you laid next to all night, just talking?

If she later asked her brother for your number, then it's a fair assumption that she knew he would tell you she did so. So, just call her, the moves have already been made. The mutual attraction is obvious. She doesn't need to know her brother told you she asked for your number. Just go with it.
