I hope Anna/Rogue has more parts in the movie than the Trailers are letting on, which is none.

Have you not seen any of the TV Spots InnerRise? Anna is going to have quite a big/important part. The reason the trailer isn't letting on much is because most of her part in the film is spoilerish.
And Botankus, no she did NOT asorb the powers of her hairdresser. Don't be such a numpty. Rogue has seriously cool hair.

Anna Paquin isn't bad at all. Please remember that she didn't write the scripts, it's not her fault that the scriptwriters decided to make Rogue a shadow of her comic book character.
I think Anna Paquin did a fabulous job with the material she was given. She pulled off a tragic character that demanded sympathy.
Believe me, I am upset as everyone else, Rogue has always been my favourite character and I would have dearly loved to see the fiesty Southern belle that we all know and love. But I have no complaints about Anna's performance at all.

Well I do. I found her annoying, childish and all in all just pretty stupid. On the one hand she shouldn't have been Rogue to begin with and the character she portrays (which isn't Rogue) is horrible on the other hand I don't see the good acting she's supposed to have done.

Well that's your opinion.

You would have thought she would have absorbed a good script with all those supernatural powers she has.

Like I said, that's your opinion and I disagree. I think Rogue's character in the movies was an essential one, as you needed to have a tragic character that the non comic fans could relate to. The movies were not made purely for us X-Men fans

But a lot of people care for a "dumb teenager". Take mothers for example.
