Completely agree -- this is on the of those films you have to see in the theaters to get the full effect but I am sure I will be buying on DVD too.

I stopped paying attention to Gibson after his tirade about the Jews.

Well you might not agree with his personal decisions but you can't ignore the fact that his films are amazing -- for example Braveheart. He is a talented and phenomnal director and I think this film will be added to other sucessful films.

Came across some awesome images from the film -- definitely check them out when you get a change. Very impressed.

I saw the trailer before Bobby and wow, it was great to see on the big screen -- was just a tease of how powerful it is going to be on the big screen. And they just added a new tv spot that I saw the other morning that looks spectacular!

Only one more week! Who here is going to see it?

Sure did. Came no where near The Passion, though.

Watched it, it was enjoyable, it didn't come anywhere near as Mel's best film (imo) "Brave Heart", but it was extremely better than that ridiculous flop "The Passion of The Christ".

Anyone care to give a more elaborate/in-depth review or maybe just more comments on the movie?

I'm thinking about going to see it.

I never thought twice about this film but we wanted to go to the movies, and nothing's out right now.

It was a good film. It had some nice graphic gore, nice comic relief toward the beginning, strong and simple story. It's definitely worth a watch.

What is wrong with you people!!

The Passion was a good movie which told a story based on the Bible, its not Gibsons fault the Jews decided to kill thier own saviour is it! And they chose to have him killed, its not an opinion but a historical fact!

And his drunk insults towards a Jewish cop, SO WHAT. When Ive been drunk ive insulted loads of people in different ways, and so have other people here so don´t try and play the mr perfect.

Oh or is it because he dared to insult a Jew? why is it that when someone insults a jew they are racist nazi´s, but insulting any other religion or race aint that bad??

Apart from that rant ther movie looks promising, but its bound to end in a sad ending like braveheart isn´t it.

I saw this movie a week or two ago.

Anyway, I thought it was great.

Definitely the best movie I've seen in theaters in a while.

eventually got to watching this movie on DVD. Absolutely brilliant, original, action, good story. Excellent in fact one of my favourite movies.

This movie comes out next month AKA May (for the U.S. release date).

I'm definitely gonna buy it, I thought this movie was excellent.
