On behalf of the GMG I now inform you all that we are starting a "Protect the noob" Program, to help save noobs from unneeded abuse and flaming which most new members often receive.

Perhaps you might want to start with welcoming the new members to get to know them a bit? And "Protect the new members or newbies (which has a somewhat different connotation than noob)" sounds better 😛
