I will remember that, it's my knees that I had the op on though. Only An arthroscopy due to torn carts they're fine now. 🙂

Certainly not it's an analogy not a piss take. Whilst the Christmas Truce ccertainly happened it's unclear about the football matches.

It's unclear though if they ever actually happened. I'd like to think they did.

It does seem traditional, nothing like a game of cricket after Christmas celebrations, a meal that one is suitably thankful for and much enjoyed and as well as some carol singing. Friendly competition, laughter - after all a friendly game of some sort is something everyone understands and can enjoy.
