Ultimate Colossus, and Colossus Respect Thread

Somebody needs to redo this thread. It's way too hard to find stuff here, if you get to page 46 there is a ton of scans from there on. Any takers?

Well the Juggernaut arc started today, not much action but Storm did say that Colossus was the strongest of them all but but he's mentally susceptible to make bad descisons. Pretty good lip service. No Cain Marko stuff yet so far in the arc.

What a ****.

I would, and had started one a while back, but soon realised that to do so properly, i'd have to read the newer stuff, and I really don't want to read some of the severely bad X-Men comics that get released nowadays.

Colossus in the Deadpool film?

As long as he's done well, I don't mind.

Well Cudmore is out.

Gives a more accomplished actor a chance, which I like.

What's really a shame is that Cudmore never got a chance to really get accomplished. He was literally a tower on legs in all three movies.

He was pretty good in that Halo movie though.

Didn't see the Halo movie.

Yeah though, Colossus was criminally wasted in the movies.

It was that 5-6 part mini-series about the UNSC cadets that fall victim to a Covenant attack at their training facility. Cudmore shows up as John-117 and basically wrecks shop while leading the surviving students to safety.

But yeah, I don't know why FOX had such a hatred for Colossus but he got like a combined 1 1/2 minutes of talking time and maybe 10 minutes of screen time throughout three full length movies.

Ah. Sounds like something i'd wanna watch.

Yeah. He's very much in the same pile as Cyclops and the others that got ****ed over.

Not sure if it's still on Netflix, so here's all 5 parts condensed into an HD movie - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hecag5e-J0

And yeah, pretty much all 4 moves not all about Wolverine were...well still all about Wolverine so they screwed over everyone. At least Scott got some screen time and lines though...not many more than Colossus, but still.

Cool, thanks.

Yeah, that's true. Poor Colossus, victim of plot holes and lack of popularity.

You'd think the guy who can beat down pretty much anyone the X-Men faced would have gotten some screen time. Like in X2 where he's like, "Logan...I turn into a 7 1/2 foot tall metal powerhouse. I can help you." And Logan's like, "Nah...help the kids. I got this because I'm all FOX cares about."

He didn't even fight Juggernaut. Despite them being the main two guys who slug it out whenever he goes against the X-Men. But of course he couldn't fight him because they had Wolverine.

I'm assuming he'll have time to shine in the upcoming Deadpool movie. Although a different actor...

Making him the straight foil to Deadpool's goofiness could really work. And since Wolverine isn't in this movie yeah, he should get some decent screen time, maybe even get a good live action adaptation that makes him stronger than the levels they put him at in the X-Men movies because it was disappointing to say the least.

Anyone have the scans of Colossus/Crossbones encounter? That was some funny sh!t.

Gotta give Crossbones credit, he tried. Also fist time I've seen bullets bounce off Colossus' face so that's cool. I guess his eyes are bullet proof.

His eyes have always been bulletproof.

As far a I know this was the first time it was shown in comics though.

Damn. Bones is badass.
