I'm willing to bet that Banshee is affecting him somehow, like deteriorating his organic metal or something.

It contradicts the first time he sliced him.

Colossus at that time was pretty weak as he was taking impure Banshee and just before fell over when Cyclops hit him with a blast which suprized many.

He found out he is the source of Banshee (mutant steriod) and he didn't take to fondly with it so he attacked Colossus who was big into Banshee and he even supplied the X-Men with it.
