He just cares about you a lot. It's common for men to let their views go against there judgement when it comes to the woman they love.

LoL yes, yes we can. I happen to be lucky enough to be in love with a girl who knows how incredibly inlove I am with her. So if I ever say something against what she wishes, she knows its only because I love her.
