I got the Friday the 13 th boxset 💃

Here is the thread where we can talk about all the movies,including Freddy vs Jason and Jason goes to Hell, I would also like to know what was your favourite movie?

My one was the 1st and 2nd 🙂

If I had to chose, I would say Part 2 beacuse Jason was the most realistic in that movie and that was the movie that gave Jason so many sequels.

Part 2 was one of the worst, IMO. It followed the same formula as the first and the kills were too similar. That and Jason's costume was bad.

I'd say Part 3 or 6. Well, Part 3 would be the best IMO, no question about it, if it wasn't for the lame 3D effects in it. Those are just embarrasing on the 2D DVD.

Friday The 13th Parts 1-4. After that it went WAY downhill and got f@@king stupid.

I liked 3 and 4.

Part one. Kevin Bacon dies, and so does everyone else cept Alice. Kick ass.

I'm with Wolfie, 3 and 6 are my favourite.

3 Jason gets his mask and 6 is just cool, campy to the max.

Part 3 was the best, Jason goes to hell was the biggest pile of $hite

My favorites are Parts 3 and 6.

geez, it seems like everyone pretty much likes 3 or 6, whats the big deal on those ones?

Well, Part 3 was the first with the mask and had some awesome kills. When he squeezed the guy's head and his eye popped out, when he shot the chick in the eye with the harpoon gun, it was a really good one, before the sequels got too cheesy for most to stand.

Part 6 was cool 'cause it was the dawn of our immortal Jason. He rises from the grave and can't even be hurt anymore. The motor home scene was great, the guy's rocking out to Alice Cooper's "Teenage Frankenstein" while Jason's wrestling with the girl in the bathroom. It was one of the better stories too, IMO. Tommy Jarvis killed Jason as a kid and has been haunted by him for his entire life since then. When he tries to put his nightmares to a rest, Jason comes back to life.

+ the blood bath scene where the cabin is full of blood, all over the walls etc!

Which one was it where the guy was stuck in the ceiling and bled on the girl's face before Jason's hand came out from under the hammock? Was that Part 3?

I have to agree, 3 & 6 were the best. The first was very touching as well, but the likes of 5 and 8 for example sucked bollocks

Agreed. Actually, I watched Part 5 again a couple months ago(?), deciding to give it another shot and ignore the ending. It's actually better that way. I found it pretty much your standard F13 sequel up to the end where it just ruined the whole thing.

Yup, that blew it for me as well. It had it's moments despite being just a friday seq. but when the 'plot' was revealed I had to restrain myself from kicking my tv

Yeah, I can see where they were going with that. They were trying to make Jason live on realistically and adding a mystery the first two movies had. Who is donning the hockey mask this time? Unfortunately (or fortunately), it just didn't work for this series.

Part 1 & 3 were the best. Basically 1-3 were incredible. 4 was good too.
