The right to bear arms.....

to all you U.S. citizens. the right to bear arms part of the constitution. good or bad? is civilians having guns a good thing or a bad thing?

I believe Civilians can have guns, if they have a license.

I think NO ONE should have guns and use diplomacy instead of violence. After all I am a Pacifier. But however in this dark times, civillians should have guns to protect themselves.

Yes, but some people in areas that are infested with gangsters (i.e Brooklyn, etc.) are in dangers and should have arms to protect themselves.

good point. i live in a so so part of town. i own a winchester 12 guage defender shotgun.

My town is completely safe, so small you could see someone coming from across town. There is no need for guns here most of the time. They should be banned here, they are only used for shooting birds.

I resent that. Not all of Brooklyn is bad, sure there are some bad parts, but where I live is just fine. Gangsters don't go after innocents, they go after other gangs. Stay out of the gangs way and you'll be just fine.

A gun should be allowed if only the Bill of Rights didn't exist. If you have a gun, then you can make you own rights. It's either a gun or the Bill of Rights that will get the job done. There is no need allowing both. Either one will do just fine. 😄

Do you need it though? I mean, home security and all, but what if your area was well patrolled by cops and all? Would you still have one?

it's completely f*cking stoopid, because if you haven't noticed, most civilians are damn stupid.

I think we should have the right, the "bad guys/killers/criminals" will still kill if they want to kill not having a gun wont stop them. and guns can also protect people...and of course our ass nine gov will never give up their right to own guns. I say America should have the right to bear arms.
