Lori remained silent untill they reached the foeurth floor. She led Dinin down a hallway to another large Ebony door. ''This will be your roomwhile you're here.'' Lori opened the door.
The sky was growing dark outside and the moon and stars began to shine. ''I'm going to bed.. Good night...'' and with that she walked quietly up the stairs to her quarters on the floor above. Before she disappeared, however, she looked back at him and gave him a small barely visible smile.

Hours later, with a candle to light her way, Lori crept out of her room, back down the stairs and to the large ebony door of the room where Dinin was staying. She knocked quietly on it and waited. She was dressed in a long white night gown, an equally long white robe and slippers. Her blonde hair was down and had fallen perfectly over her shoulders. And with the candle light illuminating her face, she looked like an angel.

Dinin quietly opened the door, he only had his pants on and no shirt. "Lori?" He asked, surpised. "I thought you weren't going to come down.. Come in.." He opened the door and let her in, seeing her face illuminated. "Wow... I never realized it but.. You're beautiful.." He whispered.

''Thanks...'' she sported one of her small, cute smiles. ''You're not so hard on the eyes either.'' She set the candle down on a table then turned back to Dinin and stared into his eyes.

Kage behind her started to laugh.

Dinin smiled, incing forwards until their lips met. For Dinin, time seemed to stop. That is, until Mr. Tumnus knocked on the door. he knocked one more time until cracking open the door to peek inside. "Mr. Dinin?" He called. "Mr. dini--" He froze, seeing him kissing the Princess. Dinin stopped and stared for a second, before turning into a bug and scrambling away to safety.

''Mr. Tumnus?!'' Lori was shocked at the sight of him.

Mr. Tumnus was as shocked as she was. ''I-I-I just h-h-heard something and came down here to ask Mr. D-Dinin if he needed anything... B-but now I see that he is obviously not in need of anything at the moment.'' he said nervously as he shut the door and hurried on his way.

''Dinin? It's alright... he's gone.'' Lori wondered where Dinin had disappeared to. ''Infact... I'd better be going aswell...''She said quietly and took her candle from the table.

Dinin quickly turned back into his human form. "Would you like to stay with me tonight?" He asked, in a whisper. "I... I... I tink... I'm in love with you Lori..."

She wasn't expecting him to change back so fast and her reflexes let go of the candle holder, letting it fall to the marble floor. It immediately went out and the room was dark. Lori couldn't see a thing.

Dinin took her hand in his. "I can change body parts too... I have dog eyes right now.." He whispered. "Please... stay with me tonight?" He asked again, a little more confidence in his voice.

''Well... maybe I could stay for a little while...'' she smiled and inched closer to him then put her arms around him.

Dinin pulled her onto the bed with him and wrapped the covers around them. "You know full well I meant all night." He chuckled, kissing her neck. He put his arms around her and turned his over, facing him. "I hope the kingdom will accept a lowly archenland shapeshifter and the princess of Narnia in love." He kissed her again while he gently wrapped his arms around her waist and tugged her closer to his body.

''I know what you meant, and I know that I lied. You know that I'll stay...'' she kissed him. ''And Besides, you're no 'lowly' shapeshifter.''

Dinin nibbled on her neck. "You don't think I'm lowly? Well, I have always thought myself fit for a kings place." He smiled. "I just never knew it was going to happen like this... The narnians have always hated my people for something they did not settle long ago. Yet I come here with vauable information. I fall in love with the princess of Narnia and I'm afraid to wonder might happen if someone checks in on me again, and finds me 'sleeping' with the Princess." His smile faded. "I don't want to think about what would happen if anyone besides Mr. Tumnus finds out about us." He put his arms around her. "You would be taken from me.. I would rather die then see you taken from my arms." He whispered

''Of course I don't think you're lowly.'' Lori smiled. ''But... I do think that you would look so handsome with a crown on your head.'' she said as she ran her fingers through his hair.

-The Next Morning, Lori woke up in Dinin's arms. The warm sunlight had found it's way through the heavy curtains and across the room to Lori and Dinin. That's what woke Lori up, the pleasant sunshine carressing her face.

Dinins eyes slowly opened. "Lori?" He whispered, turning over. He saw she was awake and gently kissed her cheek. "I was thinking all night last night... But... Do you think we should tell everyone about our love? Make it public?" He asked, quietly

Lori smiled and ran her fingers through his hair. ''Not yet...''

Dinin smiled and kissed her again as a knock came at the door. Dinin stood up and put on his shirt. He walked over to the door and opened it to a shaking Mr. Tumnus awaited. "A letter came for you Mr. Dinin.." He said, quietly. "Is Her majesty in there? I wish to speak with her on an urgent matter." Dinin shrugged. "Lori, Mr. Tumnus wants to talk to you." He called, walking back to the bed and setting his letter down on the night stand. "You can come in if you wish." He said to Mr. Tumnus. "Ok, I'll be glad to.." He was shaking more now. Dinin put his large coat over Lori so as not to embarras Mr.tumnus. He seemed he had enough on his mind.

Lori pretended to be asleep and rolled over.

Dinin smiled slightly and moved over to the bed. "Hold on, I'll get her up." He siad, gently grabbing Lori's sides and began to tickle her.
