Her tail lashed back and forth, her excitement uncontainable. She bounded up and down, her nose twitching. Kari suddenly blushed and froze, realizing just how silly she looked. She was childish, despite being a freshman. She liked to act goofy sometimes. Kari giggled a bit and blushed. "S.. sorry about that. I got a little carried away." She looked at him as he offered to carry her books. She smiled, her eyes softening a bit. "Well... If you're sure. I dont want to be any trouble to you." She lifted up her books carefully in her arms and set them into his. She smiled, grateful for the freedom of her top limbs. "Thank you very much. Oh, and dont worry about being new. It's alright. Everyone's new sometime." She giggled and her ear twitched a bit. She looked at the door and fumbled with her purse, removing some money for lunch. "Ah! This should be enough for the two of us." She smiled. Since she had no mother at home, she had been forced to get school food. She wished her mother was still alive. She missed her pb & j each day at school. She missed her mother so much. Kari's ears pinned down at the thought before they twitched and she looked back at him. "Ready to go?" She was turning timid again, yet not as bad as she could've been.
