Why Schools have dress codes

who's seriously gonna bring that many guns into school? and i dont think thats the main reason schools have dress codes, there's a bunch of other reasons besides which pants are best for carryin guns

No probs mate, but you're right dress codes in reality exist for lots of other reasons.

Dress codes are a good idea in most schools here. Thus not ripping someone off for their Nikes.

In Catholic school, they used the dress code to enforce the notion that everyone was alike and had no soul of their own; rather it was the property of the ruler-weilding nun with the metal leg. Most sheep look alike.
