about the speed thing, i don't think straight line speed should be that much of a factor... someone like Nova (Richard Rider) can travel faster than light in space but isn't that powerful and doesn't have quicksilver-like reactions...... i think the speed cap should only be on reaction speed

But how can you calculate one's reaction speed in numbers? If you go by the things they dodge, then it's lightspeed for 90% of heroes, because they dodge lasers all the time...

no one ever dodges a laser.... they just aren't in it's path when it's fired.... at most they dodge the person/machine that's firing its aim
