Yeah, scans help enormously. I'd almost be obligated to pick Spider-Man if I were in any sort of tourney below herald simply because I can build a case for him better than almost anyone (unless the bastards steal my scans 🙂 )
Same with somone like DC if Namor had been allowed. Sure, others could have taken his scans, but I guarantee you DC could argue better for Namor than almost anyone on the forum....it just makes it easier when you're backing the people you're already a fanboy of.

You can call it either. Since there's 4 judges, the popular vote will only matter if there's a tie. If 3 of them vote one way and 1 votes the other, the popular vote won't change the outcome. If it really makes you happy, we can still add it in to the final score, whether it has impact or not.
And yes, anyone can vote.

as with the last Tourney, the only arguments/points i made in matches i wasn't participating in was rules based.... not for or against any tactics/strategy given by either contestant

usually: repulsors, plasma blasts, pulse beams, uni-beam, etc..... a couple of other things that i can't remember right now... other non weapon specific systems he installs in his armours, radar, infra red, boot jets, magnetic beams, shields, etc, etc....
