Hey Hey! I want to know what everyone's faveourite drum solo or solos is. Mine is :

Same for me. I dug that one more than Der Trommler from R30. But both are damn good.

I think the problem is that live drum-solo's get stretched out to much as they often are performed outside of the band's real feel. A technical display of skill without the soul in many occasions.
But fused in a song, a drum solo can be very entertaining if it knows it's place.

There is no point in doing any kind of solo just for the heck of it, if it doesn't fit with the music. Doesn't matter witch instrument you play. Many guitar solos in rock songs, as an example, are quite unnecessary. They're just playing because it's the stereotype. Boooring...
