Question about lightening blocking

In AOTC, Kenobi easily blocks Dooku's lightening using a blue lightsabre. In ROTS, Mace deflects Sidious's lightening with his purple lightsabre. However Yoda's weapon gets blasted out of his hand.

Are green lightsabres less effective at blocking lightening than blue or purple blades?

Palpatine/Sidious has a much higher force level, which probably makes the blasts more powerful. Also, Dooku didn't seem to put that much effort into shooting out the lightning, while Sidious looked like he was trying to poop with a cork up his butt

yeah also the fact that mace holds his saber contantly in the, " high gard" stance and never drops it.
Also i herd it said that a duelest with his power uses the force to reinforce his grip on the saber therfore giving him more defenceive, and sway power Note: this is probably false.

There is no difference in color. Blue, green, red, it's all the same. It is the jedi with the lightsaber that has the power. Palapatine/Sidious used all of his power against Yoda that is why they both flew back. During Palps and Mace's fight Palps was purposely losing so it would look like he was being assasinated, and he had not fought at all. Dooku is not as powerful as Sidious, and his the level of intensity was much less in Attack of the Clones.

Lightning strikes during a lightsaber fight are so cheap.

Palps is just alot stronger, you could see Mace was struggling with the lightning.

Mace was able to deflect the lightning from Palpatine because he was a master of "Form VII" aka (Vapaad). He was able to draw upon Palpatine's attacks and use it against him, thats why as good as Yoda is as a saberist, Palpatine could match his "Form IV" fighting style .....but Mace owned Palpatine in their saber duel.

The stronger and faster the lightning, the harder to block. Lightsaber colour has no effect whatsoever.

No, see Obi-Wan's saber has a 'Sith Lightning Resistance' of 54 because he uses a crystal from the Hydronoid system... Mace's saber is SLR387 because of the gayness exhasperated due to the colour of the saber. But Yoda has a 'Force Level' of 927, and due to the fact that he is the mightyest Jedi that ever lived his SLR is 927. But, see, because Yoda's SLR and FL are the same they cancel eachother out meaning he's pretty screwed. Don't you see? This is why he lost to Sidious! Nothing else would make sense!

Sidious was like a few inches from Yoda and using full force. Dooku didn't look like he was even trying to use lighting against Obi and he was across a room. And Sidious was trying to look weak for Anakin to turn.

Anyways, I think this question has a pretty damn obvious answer and its that Palpatine is far more powerful then Dooku.

how anyone can think that a certain colour is stronger than another is just dam right bizarre

Lightsaber style counts for squat.

Yoda simply wasn't expecting the attack. Rather than trying to cook Yoda or Yoda having his lightsaber up for a guard, Yoda had his arm out cause he had just landed from his jump, and Palpatine did the lightning with full intention of blowing the lightsaber away. And it worked.
