It seems like MC from the games isnt that big a challenge, so lets replace him with MC from the book.

Dante from Devil May Cry is the son of a really powerful demon who rebelled against his own kind, in simple terms Dante is half human half demon and has superhuman powers with skin that is hard as steel (or any other really strong thing) blades don't hurt him, neither do bullets. If he "dies" he just comes back in like 5 minutes and is stronger or acts as if nothing happens and also he has infinite ammo with any weapon he wields, therefore Master Chief will get owned like crap when he pulls out his 2 demon-forged colt 1911's and will mash MC's suit into doo doo butter.
