Loose Wire Jokes

What exactly is a "loose wire joke?" anyway? Is this a reference to something in another Episode???

It is reference to R2. He is trying to help.. but messes up sometimes.. and loose wires would be a silly description of a robot who doesnt perform the proper tasks... saying they have a few loose wires in their head....

does this have anything to do with star wars
