Once a long time ago I was reading this thing about what to expect when visiting the South. It said this thing about people driving John Deere tractors down the middle of roads. I, having never seen this, laughed and informed my mother of this fallacy. She then preceded to laugh at me and informed me that I lived in the only part of Mississippi that this phenomenon did not take place. I was mortified that I lived in such a place that these things happen. So watch what you say about people driving tractors. I probably have some relatives that consider that the best car they'll ever own.

Thats VERY common here in southcentral Pennsylvania. In the spring its disc thingies and manure spreaders and in the fall its cornpickers. And down toward the Susquehanna River near the Maryland line where we go boating there are quite a few Amish farms, so you have to watch out for the horse & buggies.
