"Get 'em!"X-3 was scared that they would get caught, but didn't show it. She didn't have time to slow down.
"Go!" yelled 02 at 3. He had stopped hearing, a slight clicking sound.
The men on the roof a couple of buildings back were about to fire.
"GO!" he repeated, just as there was an eruption, sounding like a freight train in 02's ears. Bullets from the automatic weapon pinged around the gravel at his feet. He threw himself to the ground, crawling over to a small ventilation duct. He stayed behind the cover it gave him, but he knew he wouldn't have long to wait.
Another gun fire, spitting bullets in 02's direction, but he held tight. Just as he was about to make a run for it, a radio crackled from the group of men. Thanks to his sensitive hearing, he could make out the words easily.
"NO!" It was the same female voice that they had heard earlier. "They need to be alive!" she shrieked.
Perfect. It was the opening 02 needed. Wasting no time, he pushed himself up from his crouched position, staying low while darting across the roof. He made it near the edge--no bullets fired in his direction--and leaped off, spiraling through the air and landing thirty yards away in a heap on the roof of another building.
He got up hastily, running still from the men shouting behing him...
" oh my god!!" 12 looked horrified. " Is he alright?!? go back!!" she was scared that X-2 was injured. Her adrenaline was pumping madly, despite her numerous injuries. She had caught his scent...he was alive.. and she could hear his foost steps as well.
" I hope he isnt hurt..." a tear ran down her cheek. Why was she crying?! Pathetic...she told herself, he brushed it away and focused her eyes to the quickly passing ground they covered.
X-9 could'nt do anything but throw rocks he decided to jump from a building like he seen X-2 do. X-9 ran for the jump two bullets from a pistol came at X-9. X-9 ducked one of them missed him. X-9 seen the other one coming at his leg. X-9 jumped up seeing he had messed up they had a clear shot and could have killed him but they did'nt shot him. X-9 picked up a rock throwing it at another building busting the window. X-9 leaped to another building with a rock in his hand. X-9 aiming for the window inside. X-9 threw the rock busting the window. X-9 flying in makeing it safe dodgeing the sharp glass. X-9 stood up looking around makeing sure he was safe.

X-02 legs pumped, quickly becoming a flurry of movement. Ahead, he could see the others, but still far off. He needed to catch up to them. If anything happened and he wasn't there to help...
Energy surged through his body. His legs propelled him faster and faster, until he had become only a blur. The wind buffeted his face as he leaped from building to building, kicking up large amounts of gravel as he went. Cars and people passed by below--far below--as he mde his way towards the other two.
What the hell can we do? he thought desperately, leaping to one building and then another, quickly, hoping to lose his chasers. No such luck. We can't run forever. We need to find some place to hide.
That thought stuck in his mind as he rapidly soared past buildings and buildings. The others weren't far ahead, if only...
A bullet pinged against the ground beside him. He heard a angry yell from far behind, the female voice briefly yelled from a radio, but she was silenced.
Dammit! thought X-02 desperately, diving behind a fixture on the roof he was currently on.
12 turned and saw X-2. A brief smile crossed her face, then she saw the others behind him. " shit." she whispered.
" Look, i know where we can go!!" she said, excited to have remembered it. " Theres a forest a little ways off, and a barn. They wont be able to tell if we're there, theres alot of other animals, horses, rabbits...we'll be fine, the place is rigged with barbed wire too, we just gotta lose these creeps!"

X-02 saw 3 reach the end of the city, where the buildings got lower. She jumped off the very last one, heading straight into the forest ahead. Good thinking... thought 02.
He concentrated on the men behind him. They sounded as if they were still a few roofs back.
He could make it, if he was lucky.
Without hesitation, X-02 ran from his hiding spot behind the fixture. Another spurt of bullets found their home near 02, but they didn't hit him. He took off, jumping into the air, landing on the roof ahead.
The men's cries of frustration still reached 02's ears as he made it to the last house before the woods began. He leaped down onto soft grass, darting into the forest.
He could hear 3 running; her breath, her heart, her footsteps. Only a bit more and he would be able to meet up with them again.
Thank God. He did not want to be left alone...

X-3 ran faster. She didn't want to get caught and risk the lives of two people. As she ran, she tripped over a stone, crashed into a tree,and fell on the grass. She was breathing hard and looked around to see where X-12 was. She landed safely on the soft grass.
*thank god she's ok* she thought. Her arm was in extreme pain, but somehow, she managed to get up.

As he grew nearer, X-02 heard a grunt and then a thud. He hurried along, having to slow down in the dense trees. In moments he came upon the fallen girls.
He smiled when he saw they were okay. "Have a nice fall?" he said, grinning.
