Respect Quicksilver

By now, I believe we all know that as a speedster, Quicksilver is no where near the Flash’s level (or any speed-force user for that matter), although I might not be too far off to say that he is probably the fastest jerk on foot. But he is definitely a really cool character nonetheless, so I have decided to dedicate a Respect Thread to him.

First of all, I admit that I don’t know how to get images on these forums. Also, there are no other known Quicksilver Respect Threads so I couldn’t post a link to one either. OTHER FEATS- I couldn’t find scans of the following, but here are a few other Quicksilver feats.

X-Factor #71- Searches for and dismantles a bomb in a building in a matter of seconds.

Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #392-Carries Lorna and another woman on his shoulders away from an exploding missile.

Avengers vol. 3 #39 or #40-Runs from Europe to U.S. and back in only a few minutes.

Quicksilver #12- Defeats Exodus after receiving an upgrade from Isotope E.

granted, when he "destroyed the shackles," he was getting a pep talk from a disguised magneto and may not have destroyed them at all. it very well could've been magneto talking his son up, and just doing it for him.

also, though you've only got the cover scan, the fight v. exodus is amazing. he taunts the red-faced demon into using a psionic blanket attack, but is miles and miles away in the split second it takes exodus to use it. i think he punched the kleinstock brothers apart, too.

if i can get to the scanner sometime soon, i'll post the few quicksilver feats i can find.

oh yeah, and when he ran to the US, it was said he did it faster than the quinjet could've, meaning he was going well over mach 4. for someone who'd previously topped out around 200 mph, that's damn good. and, with the exception of northstar whose powers operate in an entirely different manner of locomotion, pietro is the fastest running-based speedster on the planet. fastest one born here, at least.

Quicksilver is by far the coolest speedster of them all. I've got a few feats of his, including his fight with Exodus which i'll post up soon...

This is after Quicksilver received an upgrade from Isotope E, and Exodus isn't up to his Bloodties standard, but it's a cool fight nonetheless.

How fast is his top speed? I have seen him go mach 10, but from that even Northstar is faster on foot running mach.18.7
