The Judgment of Celestial: Shadows Unleashed

Prolong

Igros is a world much like Earth but with different creatures. The most common of which are the kiltons. Kiltons resemble a common fox but are the size of a horse. Some kiltons can speak the tongue of man while others use their own form of language. Something else about Igros is Celestial Energy. Celestial Energy surrounds every living thing and as it ages the Celestial Energy slowly dies out. Celestial Energy is often referred to as the sands of time for once it fades completely the life form dies. But if the life form dies with Celestial Energy left the remaining energy doesn’t fade forever but instead joins with the Celestial Energy of Igros at the planet’s core.
During the year 216 of the Golden Ages the first users of Celestial Energy came to be. These people named themselves Paladins for they were the warriors of peace and justice. Paladins could harness their own Celestial Energy and Celestial Energy of others to perform great feats. The most common of Paladin’s abilities is seeing Celestial Energy. To the trained eye Celestial Energy appears to be a multi-colored energy field surrounding the entire life form. Celestial Energy moves faster then the life form itself so one that can see Celestial Energy can predict his opponent’s moves.
Other techniques a Paladin learns is to heal slight wounds. To heal the wounds the Paladin must focus on the Celestial Energy surrounding the wound and speed up the healing processes thus making it appear that they can heal people. The Paladin Temple is where the Paladins train but if someone with dark desires learn to harness Celestial Energy they can use it to cause vast thunder storms and even endanger all of Igros.
An event of one occurred during the year 2,122 of the Golden Ages. A terrible creature came forth from the planet’s Celestial Energy called Diablen. Diablen was able to drain the Celestial Energy out of living creatures but it was only temporary. Even the Paladin Council Leader, Galatians could not stand to the might of Diablen. Galatians was the greatest Paladin of his time but his life was taken at the hands of Diablen. No records show what the terrifying beast looked like for those who seen it died shortly after.
It wasn’t until the year 717 of the Silver Ages that the Pendant War broke lose. Diablen had gathered a force great enough to invade all of Igros but they wouldn’t go down without a fight. Paladin Ephesians learned of a terrible weakness that Diablen had. Hidden south is a pendant that keeps the mighty beast powerful and so Ephesians gathered a team and went south to find the pendant but when he arrived it was not where to be found.
Forty years later Ephesians learned that his old friend, Elisha stolen the pendant from the temple as though it was calling him. Ephesians now had to report this to the Paladin Temple so the forces of Igros would begin to push back Diablen’s armies. Ephesians trusted the pendant to Elisha’s 10 year old son Elijah. Elijah along with his 11 year old cousin Sheldon and the 9 year old twins Christian and Cameron traveled north from Gravince. They passed through Silence Woods where they met the catlons. A race of women that have cat like ears and tails.
Epelwyn, the queen of the catlons at the time, helped the boys by driving off Diablen’s forces that was camping out north of Silence Woods. The boys traveled for ten days to reach Irony where they met the ranger Striker who came from Hyland to assist the boys on reaching Port Town.

Alas Elijah did in fact reach Port Town where Bradon, Swiphere, and Joran joined the five. Ephesians caught up with them before they left and so the small four that left Gravince became nine. Ephesians led them through the mines of the Getian Mountains where the group encountered a servant of Diablen, the Barathus.
The group managed to lose it in the maze and so Elijah asked Ephesians the importance of the pendant. Ephesians explained that in Mount Vovlian in the dark land of Darkice is the Black Hole. Throw the pendant into the Black Hole and Diablen can no longer take energy from the planet or living creatures. Diablen will whither away and die.

Before the group could leave the mines the Barathus came again and so the old Paladin Ephesians faced it off. This time both the Barathus and Ephesians were killed. Once in the Getian Woods the remaining eight were ambushed by Diablen’s forces. Joran was killed trying to save Christian and Cameron. Diablen’s forces took the twins away and Striker, Bradon, and Swiphere perused them while Elijah and Sheldon continued to Darkice.
Striker and his group came to Hyland where a huge army from Darkice approached to destroy Gandriar’s strongest ally. The three warned the king and at once they departed to the fortress of Beremu. At sunset Diablen’s forces attacked Beremu in the second biggest battle of the Silver Ages. Diablen’s forces were defeated when armies from Fongon and Uplian arrived. Swiphere lost his life shortly after the battle was won by a wounded solider of Diablen’s.
Striker and Bradon headed down to the Paladin Temple called Ethian. There they found Christian and Cameron who were saved by a scout group sent by the new Paladin Council Leader, Gilbert. Gilbert told the four that Diablen is sending his full force to destroy Gandriar, the strongest kingdom in Igros by striking at their capital city, Gandra. Striker told many kings of this news and at once the armies of Igros rode to the aid of Gandra where Bradon already headed off to in order to warn the king.
Jaromor, Joran’s younger brother and prince of Gandriar, prepared for battle but they were not ready for Diablen’s greatest warrior, the Reaper-King. The forces of Gandriar were overwhelmed by the sheer power of Darkice with its allies from the west Toran and Maldarian who united with Darkice to keep their people safe.
By sunset the walls of Gandra were flooded with the armies of Darkice. An hour before sunrise the reinforcements of man arrived on horse and on foot and they trampled the forces of Diablen. Victory appeared to have been won but Darkice has not yet even begun to fight. Over a hundred thousand soldiers from Darkice entered the valley and victory was slipped away. The Reaper-King slew Gilbert in a terrible and fierce duel. But before the Calvary of Igros and Darkice collided it was all over. For at that moment Elijah threw the pendant into the Black Hole where the forces of Diablen vanished and all his evil left the lands.
Elijah and Sheldon were never heard from again. It appears that in throwing the pendant into the Black Hole the two young children sealed their own fates with it. Peace was restored in Igros and the reign of Diablen was gone forever. The Paladin Temple at Ethian became stronger over the years and it is fact the Paladins during the Bronze Age were superior then any other Paladins mostly due to the creation of the Cielo Saber. A Cielo Saber is forged from a blue crystal that is almost unbreakable and can almost cut through anything. No two hilts are the same of a Cielo Saber.

During the year 3 of the Bronze Age Paladin Samuel stepped forward to lead the Paladins to a new power that none of the Gold or Silver Ages could dream of. Samuel had shown the Paladins how to make their Celestial Energy into an energy shield thus making them invincible for a short period of time but only Samuel at the time could do this technique for it required a high level of Celestial Energy to use.
During the year 1212 of the Bronze Age the United Nations of Igros begun to develop super-clones. Thirty new born children with high Celestial Levels were taken to a secret lab out in the Igrian Ocean. There the children were cloned and then returned to their parents one after the other. The genetic structure of the cloned children were genetically altered so the children would be stronger, faster, more agile, better seeing, better hearing, and better control of their Celestial Energy then any Paladin could hope to have.
The first thirty from JOC-001 to JOC-030 were given multiple tests of the Paladin trials at the age of twelve and all passed with flying colors. These thirty suppressed even the Paladin Council Leader Thespians. Thespians kept a close eye on the thirty super-clones for at the moment of the first thirty’s creation their genetic makeup was unbalanced. When the “first thirty” became fully trained it was time to test them against the top and best Paladins.
In the end it was the first thirty who won the contest of strength, speed, agility, and powers of Celestial Energy. It seemed that the Paladin Temple would be destroyed in order for more ‘superior’ super-clones to be designed. Two years after this the thirty codenamed BLOOD attacked the Paladin Temple in hopes of exterminating all traces of all the Paladins.
The Paladins fought back with all their might but most were whipped out. Thespians and one hundred fellow Paladins rallied the people to war. Soon the Global Civil War broke lose. During the raid of the Paladin Temple only two of the thirty super-clones were killed. Such heroes of the war were Adam and Calbret who single handily defeated three of the remaining twenty seven.

The Paladins fell in number as the BLOOD soldiers pushed back all forms of resistance. Finally it was proven that Professor Melkey, the creator of the thirty super-clones had created a superior clone with the DNA of all the Paladins he managed to gather and then some. He called his ultimate warrior, Serrago. By the time Serrago stepped into the battle their were only twenty of the thirty super-clones remaining. The Global Civil War has been going on now for over four years.
Serrago slew Thespians and at the same time twenty other Paladins. The United Nations of Igros ceased to be for Serrago had declared it the Imperial Nations of Igros. The remaining few Paladins knew they couldn’t defeat Serrago as long as any remaining BLOOD survived. During the course of the next ten years the last Paladins separated and slew every single super-clone still alive costing them a good number as well.
Finally Adam and Calbret along with the last forty Paladins attacked the Imperial Castle in Gandra along with three thousand loyal soldiers to the union. Serrago killed all the Paladins but Adam. In a final strike Adam defeated Serrago in an attack that was called pure luck. Serrago was frozen and sent into deep space. The Imperial Nations of Igros fell over the next few years and the United Nations of Igros was reborn.

Adam O’Donnell rebuilt the Paladin Temple at Ethian and soon the Paladins grew in number. Sadly Adam died six years later of a terrible wound he received from Serrago. Professor Melkey was executed for his betrayal and Professor Hipkins took over in the creation of a new army of super-clones. These super-clones were to follow any order from any Paladin or commanding officer without question.
So seventy new super-clones codename Celestial Warriors were trained to become superior then the first thirty who fallen. JOC-031 through JOC-100 became ready for combat over the next fifteen years and more super-clones were soon made. JOC-101 through JOC-150 were trained to be ready for battle in the next fifteen years. Three years later Hyerland, capital of Hyland, was bombard but an unknown foe.
Hylanders called for the support of air cruisers from the United Nations of Igros senate but was denied for their was no clue that the enemy would attack again in the same place. In three months they did attack but this time it was the military base that was training JOC-031 through JOC-150. The attackers appeared to be like velicoraptors but standing at about seven foot. They moved and attacked like a group speaking some unknown language. They wore high-tech battle armor that proved heavy armor against the alien invaders.
The Celestial War begun and the forces of Igros fell to the supreme Yotian Empire. The Celestial Warriors and Paladins fought side by side on the many battlefields across Igros. For eight years the war raged on between the Yotian Empire and the United Nations of Earth. The three wise; leaders of the Yotian; Triassic the Wise of Birth, Jurassic the Wise of Life, and Mesozoic the Wise of Death were tactical geniuses. The outflanked, overwhelmed, and overpowered Igrian forces even with the aid of the Paladins and the Celestial Warriors.
Finally JOC-123 codenamed X became the last Celestial Warrior alive. X proved to be too much for the Yotian Empire for he successfully killed Jurassic the Wise of Life three years into the war. The war became a struggle for the survival of the human race and something happened that hasn’t happened since Elijah’s time, catlons came to the aid of humans.
Soon Triassic was killed by a mammoth, a massive alien part of the Yotian Empire. The mammoths and cheetahs saw that it was the raptors and hyenas fault the humans still exist. The Yotian Empire broke out into civil war. Mesozoic was playing everyone for fools for it was he who allowed X to kill Jurassic and also to manipulate the mammoths into killing Triassic but he did not expect a civil war to break out.
The raptors and hyenas; along with tyrants, massive t-rex like aliens, battled the mammoths and the cheetahs and they all had to worry about the combine strength of the humans and catlons. Finally X killed Mesozoic twelve years into the fighting and the Yotian Empire retreated from Igros. The Celestial War has ended. X died in the process of slaying Mesozoic and alas all the Celestial Warriors and the Paladins have been killed. Not one survived this gruesome war called the biggest war in Igrian history.
Gravince is a small country with very small villages. Most famous of these villages is Mayton from hence Elijah was born and departed from during the Silver Ages. Here Jack O’Neil was born. Jack’s childhood and best friend was Brittany Moore who was basically Jack’s only friend for he kept to himself. Jack refused to show emotion thinking it mad him look weak.

When Jack turned seventeen he left Mayton and headed for Gandra, the biggest city in all of Igros to join the marines. Before he left he made a promise to Brittany saying “when you fall and no one else is around I’ll be there…I promise.” Jack followed the same route to Gandra that everyone else took leading him to Irony. When Jack arrived at Gandra everything else would change his life…

Chapter I
Dust in the Wind

“I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment’s gone.”

Gandra, a city leveled by many support columns. The city has a fifteen mile radius with a small ten foot wall forming a circle around the outer realm of the city. In the center of the city stands a building ten thousand feet high, that building is the president’s office. The president’s office is located at the top with its own celestial reactor giving power to the building. There are six celestial reactors in the city beside the small one on top of the president’s building. Each reactor is located ten miles from the center of the city forming an invisible circle that is parallel with the wall.
Celestial reactors drain the planet’s celestial energy to give power to the many vast cities throughout Igros. With the planet losing so much celestial energy due to the amount of power the reactors use many rebel groups have been formed to destroy all the reactors and to bane the usage of celestial energy. Terrorist as some call them for they kill lives and do millions of dollars of damage. The United Nations of Igros has sent forth their best marines to find these rebel groups and kill them all.

“Over here Jack,” Rufus waved to his comrade. Three marines walked down the street and when the close was clear Jack and Rufus emerged from the alley and ran across the street climbing the fire escape to the eighth floor of an old looking building. Rufus went up the fire escape first followed by Jack who kept a close eye out for any one that may be part of the marines.
Jack was a marine once; two years ago he left the force. Now he is twenty one and taking missions from whoever pays the most. Rufus slowly opened the rectangular window of the eighth floor making sure he was as silent as possible. Jack jumped in head first and rolled on the floor to making his entrance almost soundless. He stood up and waved to John. Rufus used the top of the window and went in feet first almost as fast as Jack.
“Alright let’s get this over with,” Jack softly whispered to Rufus as he crept through an open doorway. Rufus stayed back looking around. They entered through the kitchen window. A small round table that could sit four people sat in the middle of the room. Under the window as a sink with a few dishes in the water soaking. On the wall left of the window was a refrigerator with a few pictures on it. Rufus paid no attention to the pictures for he was gazing around.
Next to the frig was a smaller but taller table then the one in the middle. On it was a microwave oven with the door slightly opened. Rufus turned around and say another open doorway leading to what appeared to be the laundry room. Rufus saw three chairs evenly apart surrounding the center table. He pulled one out and sat down on it. The sun sat over the city and all went quiet. Jack reentered the room and turned on the kitchen light this time he had a brief case.
“Is that the coordinates to the rebel’s hidden base located in this city?” Rufus asked Jack. Jack threw the brief case on the center of the table and opened it. He nodded to the question Rufus asked.

Jack handed the paper inside to Rufus who looked through them quickly. Their were about forty sheets of paper but one stopped Rufus and had him reading through:

John O’Donnell,
Are old base has been discovered and so we have no choice but to depart and quickly. We have taken what we can from the old base but it wasn’t enough. The union marines attacked violently and so we fled.
We have moved to a new base a bar called ‘Moore’ on Sixth Street. It is a small area that the union marines will never think about looking for us there. We will meet up at 0600 hours at Moore.
United Nations of Igros…more like the Imperial Nations of Igros. I can’t stand how the president calls himself a republican and yet still demands for his tyrant like power.
Adam Black

“So we found the location of the rebel base. Good work O’Neil. This time around they cannot escape. The destruction of reactor A3 was one that we cannot allow to happen again,” Rufus said placing the paper back in the brief case and closing it, “this is where you come in Jack. You left the marines two years ago but now you’ll go to the hidden rebel base and stay with them for awhile as a new recruit. Learn the location of the reactor in whence they plan to destroy next and report it back. We’ll send forth are best soldiers to ambush them there and then we shall destroy their base.”
“Fine but I’m raising my price to two thousand dollars,” Jack said. Rufus removed his sunglasses and placed them in his left jacket pocket.
“Very well you will get your two thousand once those rebels are dead,” Rufus replied. Jack smiled and left via the window. Rufus used the front door figuring his secrecy is no longer needed. Jack made it to the bottom of the fire escape with no problem. The sun was being blocked by a thick cloud and Jack paid no attention. He headed down the street for at the moment he was one Third Street. Jack figured it won’t take him twenty minutes to get to the rebel hidden base.

Alas Jack O’Neil arrived at the bar known as Moore which doubled as the hidden base. Jack knew his mission far to well and thus he would be able to crush this rebel force like three more he encountered in the past. The bar had a small flight of stairs leading to the wooden porch which allowed someone to enter the bar. The bar had a wooden door with a gold marking in the center that looked like a B fused with an M. Moore appeared to be a two story building with a basement.
A small window sat to the right and left of the door with some flowers in the window. Jack started up the steps and after going up ten steps Jack stopped a few feet from the door and looked at the flowers in the left window. He then gazed back at the door and begun to proceed in.

The spy placed his hand on the doorknob and pushed the door opened. He stepped in and saw the counter on the wall opposite of the door. Seven bar stools were parallel with the edge of the counter. Four round tables with four chairs each were scattered across the room. Three men sat at one table each with a mug full of beer and none paid attention to Jack. Behind the counter sat a door that resembled the front door of the bar. Jack walked over passing the tables and sitting down at the bar. A rather big fellow sat at the end of the counter and Jack sat on the other end. This guy was bald but had a full beard and mustache.

A TV was in the corner behind the counter with the news on. The news reporter came on the air with the ruins of a reactor behind him, “we come live at Mountain Village, Hyland. Behind me lie the ruins of reactor B12. Six o’clock this morning a rebel group destroyed the reactor but all were caught and executed shortly after. This makes ten reactors rebel groups have destroyed with only sixty two remaining. Will the government do something to prevent anything like this happening again?”
The TV shifted back to the football game. Jack continued to look at the screen but his gaze was broken at the sound of hearing a female’s voice saying, “Can I get you someth…Jack?”
Jack turned at a young woman that appeared to be twenty. She had long brown hair. She wore a white t-shirt and a brown skirt. Her eyes were ruby green and she was wearing a pair of brown boots with white socks that came to her knee. The skirt came just level to where her fingertips ended if she had her arms to her side. Her hands had brown gloves on them that had the fingers cut off. The t-shirt revealed her bellybutton as she spoke again, “is that really you Jack?”
“Brittany? Didn’t think you owned a bar. Haven’t seen you since I left Mayton,” Jack said calmly.
Brittany ran across to the other side of the counter and Jack stood back up. Jack was about a foot and a half taller then Brittany was. She smiled and hugged her old childhood friend.
“I’m so happy to see you again,” Brittany said joyfully. Brittany took a step down and sat at the stool next to the one Jack was just sitting at. Jack returned to his stool and sat down. Brittany shifted so that she was facing Jack before saying, “so what have you been up to the pass four years?”
“Well I left Mayton when you were sixteen and came to Gandra. I became a marine for the union army and started to deal with terrorists. I stayed in the army for two years before leaving,” Jack said, “and now I want to join the rebel forces.”
“Really!?” Brittany yelled in excitement, “the leader…Alex Black…is in the basement reviewing blue prints,” Brittany whispered to Jack, “you can’t enter until closing time for someone could be a spy. Why don’t you go to my room and wait there? I’ll get you an hour after closing time.”
“Alright,” Jack responded. Brittany got up and took Jack behind the counter and opened the rear door to allow Jack to go in. Jack stepped inside and Brittany closed the door behind him. It was a nice sized room. The bed was queen sized with light blue sheets and about six blue pillows. A desk sat in the corner with a lone chair. On the desk was a picture of Brittany and Jack when he was fourteen back home at Mayton.

The room had some clothes on the floor. On a red carpet were some t-shirts; come white, some blue, some green, and some black and even some skirts that seemed to go with each outfit. Even Brittany’s bras were on the floor. They were sized double D. Jack walked over and sat on the bed and looked at the clock that was on a shelf over on the wall near the door. It was only two o’clock.
Brittany’s dresser was at the foot of the bed and had on a make-up kit which had a pair of green ankle socks on top of it. Jack laid down on the bed and placed his head gently on the pillow. On the ceiling was a ceiling fan that was slowly rotating. Jack turned his head to look out the window and on the pillow next to him was another bra. This one was black. Jack grabbed it by the strap and placed it on the small table next to the foot of the bed. Jack could not fall asleep for now his assignment troubled him. He wanted to help the union forces and get paid but he couldn’t betray his childhood friend.
Jack laid in bed for half an hour before getting out. He stood next to the bed and looked around. He looked back at the photo of himself and Brittany on the desk. He was giving Brittany a piggyback ride. Jack took a step towards it but the door opened. Brittany came in and walked over next to Jack.

“Sorry about the mess,” Brittany said smiling.
“It’s alright,” Jack said sitting down on the bed. Brittany sat down next to him.
“So Jack, what do you want to do in life?” Brittany asked.
“I really haven’t thought about my future,” Jack responded. Jack was never really one to smile or express feelings so his mood didn’t surprise Brittany.
“You’re just like I remember you. Never caring about anything to come and yet to always get by with ease,” Brittany said. Jack turned his face away from Brittany for his was still struggling with the mission at hand and then finally he knew the answer, “well closing time is at nine but I’ll bring you some dinner at four okay?”
“That’ll be fine,” Jack replied. Brittany kept that cheerful smile of hers and got up and left the room. Jack now had to think of how to pass the time. He laid back down and closed his eyes and fell into deep thought.

“Hey Jack come over here!” Brittany yelled leaning over a wooden fence. She was wearing a red cowboy hat with a white outlining, a white t-shirt, and a red skirt with a red pair of boots. Jack walked over in his usually black jacket with red flames on the side and his navy blue pants.
“What’s up?” Jack asked looking over to the barn where a cow fed from the grass and a few chickens walked around it. Brittany climbed on the fence and sat down.
“Like my new hat?” Brittany asked with that smiling she always has on.
“Umm…yeah it looks great on you,” Jack said not really paying attention to the hat at all. He was focused on the windmill and the fact that it’s spinning at great speeds and yet he doesn’t feel a slight breeze.
“Oh yeah I also got a camera…you know I don’t have a single picture of us together,” Brittany told Jack.
“Really?” Jack replied not really caring.
“Really. That’s why I think we should take a picture together,” Brittany told him.
“Alright make it quick,” Jack said.
“Turn around,” she responded.

“What?” Jack questioned.
“Just do it,” Brittany demanded. Jack turned around and Brittany jumped onto his back. Her arms wrapped around Jack near the bottom of the neck and she also wrapped her legs around him, “not grab my camera on the fence and take a good picture.”
“Alright, alright,” Jack said and waddled over to the fence. With his left hand he grabbed the camera and held the picture up. Jack took the picture and placed the camera back down on the fence. Brittany gave Jack a small kiss on the cheek and got off and grabbed her camera.

“Jack, Jack? Wake up Jack,” Jack’s eyes opened and Brittany was standing over him. Jack sat up and found himself back in Brittany’s room, “I brought you some dinner.”
“Thanks,” Jack said.
“It’s outside. I’m on my diner break so we can eat together,” Brittany laughed and then giggled. Jack rubbed his eyes and got up and followed Brittany back to the front room. The bar was now emptied. On a table sat home cooked fried chicken with rice and gravy and green peas and iced tea. Jack sat down at the table and Brittany sat down opposite from him.
“Did you make this?” Jack asked.
“That I did. After you left Mayton my mother taught me how to cook,” Brittany informed Jack.

Finally closing time came. Jack was still in the bedroom laying on the bed watching the ceiling fan rotate slowly. It was half pass nine. Jack sat up and looked around. The door opened and Brittany walked in.
“Well, ready to see Alex?” Brittany asked. Jack nodded and stood up. Brittany walked back out of the room and Jack followed. She opened a secret trap door behind the counter revealing a flight of stairs. Brittany headed down the stairs followed by Jack. The basement was huge with computers and machines everywhere. Rebel soldiers walked this way and that way. Brittany led Jack over to a desk where a man with brown hair and wearing a white shirt and army pants sat, “Alex, this is Jack. He wants to join the rebels.”
“Jack huh?” Alex said, “why do you thing you should join the resistance?”
“I was once a marine so I have two years of combat training that could be of use,” Jack responded.
“Well we are in need of more assistance so welcome aboard Jack…”
“O’Neil,” Jack replied.
“Jack O’Neil. Since you already have combat training you’ll be heading out to reactor A3 with squadron twelve,” Alex said, “go over to the armory and get what weapons you desire.”
Jack turned and headed to a room with the words armory over a steel door. Jack opened the door and walked in. A rather muscular black man was checking out an assault rifle when he noticed Jack. The man wore a white bandana, a white shirt with a black vest, and black pants.
“You new?” he asked.
“Yeah,” Jack replied.
“The name is Adam Black,” the man said.
“Jack O’Neil,” Jack said looking around.

“Take what weapons you wish but I’ll tell ya this, you need to travel light,” Alex said. Jack walked around and his attention stopped at a sword with the hilt of a gun. Alex saw Jack looking at the weapon, “that’s a gunblade. You can use it as a sword and it doubles at a gun. Shoots as good as a pistol. No one likes to use them though for it’s hard to hide.”
“I’ll take it,” Jack said grabbing the gunblade.
“Alright. Go see Alex,” Adam said. Jack left the armory and returned to the desk where Alex was at.

“A gunblade huh?” Alex said looking at the weapon, “I guess it’ll do. You’ll head out to the reactor tomorrow before dawn so I suggest you get a good night’s sleep.”
“Alright,” Jack said nodding and walking up the stairs to the bar. Brittany followed Jack and closed the trap door after she came out.
“I hope you’ll be alright tomorrow,” Brittany said.
“I’ll be fine,” Jack replied, “I’m going to step out for a second.”
“Alright,” Brittany said. Jack placed the gunblade on the counter and walked outside. He pulled out his cell phone and started to dial a number. The phone rang and a deep voice answered.
“Hello?”
“It’s Jack,” Jack said.
“Good Jack, do you have the information?” the voice replied. Jack recognized the voice, it was Rufus.
“That I do. They plan to attack reactor…A3,” Jack said and ended the call. He walked back into the bar. Jack did not know what to do anymore but he knew what he must do...

Chapter II will begin shortly but should Jack try to save the team or send them down to their death?
