Alright, I've forced myself to right this, even though I'm not in the role-playing mood. Anyway, here's my Roxas Audition. It's the standoff between Roxas and Axel in the basement.
These past days were ridiculous. From strange grey creatures attacking him, a strange key-sword, an enchanting young girl, to time stopping altogether, it wasn't exactly the ideal vacation. Roxas had been pulled into such strange occurences, it almost seemed normal now.
That's what Roxas was thinking before.
Roxas was thinking of something else now.
The boy with the spiked brown hair.
Sora.
The boy reappeared in his dreams, was brought up in conversations with masked men, and was painted on tiled glass in a strange open vortex of darkness. All of this was enough to make someone go crazy. Roxas however, was taking this news differentely. He was remembering.
In the large room in the basement of the mansion, he stood across from his red haired "best friend." Ha. Best Friend. Best friends usually don't shoot fireballs at you at the Struggle tournament. Axel shouted something at Roxas, but it was inaudible. What was going on was slowly re-entering his mind. The Organization *seat 13* The Keyblade *2* and the white haired unknown*"Why Do you have a keyblade?*
This all went through his head as his world began to spin and collapse around him. His friends Hayner, Pence, and Olette. Did they even exist? Did HE even exist? Was any of this real?...or not? Roxas fell to his knees and began growing dizzy. He felt like he could throw up. Everything around him was a lie. He grabbed his head as if to pull all of the insanity out of him, but knew his gesture was in vain. He pulled his hands into fists and slammed the cement floor. Axel Rose an eyebrow and said something along the lines of "The Roxas I knew is long gone." Roxas lifted his head and met his friends eyes. There was something there. Remembrance. Perhaps it was something more than remembrance. Axel actually looked sad.
Sad for WHAT??? Roxas began to grow angry. He screamed on the inside. He screamed for Hayner and his friends. He cursed Sora and Namine for what was going on. He got to his feet and slammed his hands to his sides. Then they lit up. Two keyblades manifested in both of his hands. One very metallic, and the other, a darker key. "Two?" Axel asked as he summoned his own weapons.
Roxas smiled on the inside. He flashbacked to a courtyard of himself and Axel together. "You wanna go AGAIN Axel?" The flashback ended abruptly as Axel summoned an enormous fiery wall around them.
"BURN!" Axel yelled as fire shot out of his spinning blades. Roxas reacted quickly, and the fireball ricocheted off of his black keyblade, and made Axel jump high into the air to avoid it. Axel was about to fire another shot, but Roxas was too quick. He appeared above and behind the Red-haired nobody, and sliced him downward. Axel crashed hard into the floor, and let out a deafening yell in a mixture of anger, pain and sorrow. Roxas landed softly and twirled his two weapons. It was all coming back to him. Bit by bit. He had left the organization of his own free will. *Nobody will miss me*
Axel was back up, and let out a stream of fire that caused Roxas to jump back in defense. Using the Oathkeeper, Roxas took the blow, and threw his oblivion straight towards the taller man. It connected and the hilt of the blade knocked Axel backwards, slamming into his fire wall. He tossed the remaining fire off of his Oathkeeper and was upon Axel. The red haired stood up, and swung his blades at Roxas. The metal on metal created sharper sparks, that caused the fire surrounding them to grow taller. They furiously fought each other. Blow to blow. They connected their blades above their heads and stared at each other. Axel had a faraway look in his eyes as he said to his best friend "Sorry Roxas"
A grunt. A body fell backward.
"Me Too" Roxas said, returning his keyblades.
Axel grabbed at his chest. He was on one knee now. "I'll see you in the next life." Roxas said genuinely.
"Idiot," Axel began as the darkness began to surround him, and the fiery wall died down. "Just because YOU have a next life...."
