He wants a chemical to create lizard men, perhaps that's his big evil role, like he did in the beginning.

And Mysterio will help him if Lizard helps him kill spider-man

Hmm I see Mysterio using the Lizard for his own gain, if implemented correctly I think Mysterio has the potential to be just as sneaky, cunning and intellectually on sync with Doc Ock.

Mysterio is pretty smart

You would have to be, to create all those illusions and to compact them into a gas or cube.

Mysterio wouldn't be the fighting kind but Lizard would be...so thats something right there

Brains and Brawn.

We'd get a decent fight with Lizard...mysterio and Lizard working together would work

Perhaps the final fight is in a Hollywood esq horror set.

How would connors die if he was to die

Perhaps he sacrifices himself, he no longer wants to be lizard, so he jumps on top of mysterio and drags them both into flames or something.

Perhaps he regains his mind and turns to SM and says somthing like.

"Take care of them, tell my wife I love her, tell my son I will always be proud of him, I will always love them."

Then he kills himself along with Mysterio.

He lunges towards Mysterio who shoots connors and they both fall to their deaths

Perhaps the warehouse is on fire and so, that way the bodies are never discovered.

suggesting maybe they didn't die and could have been an illusion

Perhaps one does die, the other uses the illusion to escape, and to leave the area and start a new life or somthing of that nature.

I say lizard dies...mysterio lives

Lizard has more to loose.

He has a family so yeah...he does

Compered to Mysterio who has no one.
