He should have added more than that. A good amount would be 50-80.

That's too much for someone who doesn't work out regularly or really at all. 20-30 lbs of muscle would be enough. He doesn't have to look like a bodybuilder.

I'm just talking about weight.

I truly doubt that he'd be able to gain 50-80 pounds of muscle, but it should be somewhat easy for him just to gain weight.

Definitely. He could've just tried putting on weight, then focusing on adding muscle. Still, he did a good enough job. I especially liked his Eddie Brock, I think Topher as an actor is very underrated tho.

Yeah, he was a great Eddie Brock. He would have been the perfect Venom if he much bigger without looking freakishly huge.

Yeah, I know. Topher Grace is a great actor and "That 70s Show" is one of my favorite television shows. It amazes me how people keep saying he's just a decent actor when he's been in a bunch of movies and television shows that show off his acting skills.

Well, being in a bunch of movies doesn't neccesarily make you a good actor. I mean, look at Nic Cage. Also, I'd actually like to see how he'd do as Spidey himself but that probably won't ever happen.

Btw, he recently did a voice for a character on the Simpsons.

To be honest, I think he would do a better job than Tobey as Spiderman. One thing that is missing from the majority of the fight scenes in the three Spiderman movies are Spiderman's witty remarks.

In the comic books, Spiderman usually teases his enemies while fighting them in order to get them angry and have them make their own mistakes. I don't recall any remarks being said in any of the fight scenes in the movies. There might be a few, but there wasn't a lot.

Since Topher does a great job at being funny, I just think that he can pull off those funny remarks during the fight scenes more naturally than Tobey can. He was already funny and geeky in "That 70s Show", so being Spiderman should be easy for him.

Tobey made remarks in the movies or quips as they're called but as you said, there weren't a hell of a lot. He made the most amount of quips in SM-3 though, and they were mostly when he first fought the Sandman.

Those are the only ones that I remember from the three movies.

Anyway, Spiderman should be funnier in Spiderman 4, but not too funny to the point where the whole movie is mostly a comedy.

Spider-Man is kind of a comedy in itself. There are sometimes some really serious stories, but he's not meant to be taken as seriously as someone like Batman or maybe the Hulk. On a sidenote, it'd be nice for someone like the Hulk to be a crossover "villain" for Spider-Man to take on.

That would be interesting even though it's very unlikely.

Something like that would happen in an animated movie instead of a live-action movie.

Which is a shame, we need more crossover movies where there are more than one hero. It's such a shame that we don't get nearly as many superhero movies as we should. There are so many good stories out there for them to simply be passed up and never used for a live action movie.

Yeah, I agree.

Well, I believe that there's going to be an Avengers movie in the future.

Of course, that's what they're getting at with all these new Marvel releases. That's why

Spoiler:
Nick Fury appears at the end of Iron Man and Tony Stark is set to have a cameo in the Incredible Hulk movie.

Yeah, I thought so.

I think it's going to be released in either 2010 or 2011.

I'd put my money on it being released in 2011 because before anything else happens, we need a friggin' Captain America movie and a Thor movie as well. But, for Thor, I'd say they should update his costume and make him look a little cooler. Kinda like Ultimate Thor.

Yeah, Ultimate Thor looks much cooler than regular Thor.

I can see a Captain America movie being made, but I don't know who would play the main role.

An updated look is a must for all heroes at some point in time. And as far as CM is concerned, as long as whoever cast can act, has the build & the look, I'll be happy.

Well, most heroes just keep their designs forever.

It's okay for a current design to be modified and upgraded, but it shouldn't look completely different to the point where it's hard to recognize that person.

I'm not saying that by any means, just that the design should always be upgraded so that it looks better than before.
