What system was that on?

SNES or Genesis.

Well, it could have been "Spiderman and Venom: Maximum Carnage" since Carnage does a similar motion on the box art. It's the prequel, in case you didn't know.

Anyway, I'm going to search for some more fake trailers.

I know maximum came before, but I never knew about the sequal

Well I got the game and played it....wasn't too bad, wasn't the best game I've ever played though

I liked the sequel better. Not only were the graphics better, but you could choose Venom from the beginning instead of waiting until a certain stage. I'm sure that we all can agree that Venom was the better choice because his attacks were much stronger and had more crowd control.

Truthfully, I'd like to see either Morbius or the Lizard in SM-4, but the Lizard is more likely. In fact, I'd only want to see Morbius in SM-4 if it had a somewhat dark and creepy feel to it. Spidey remains lighthearted, but as far as Michael Morbius is concerned, he always has a dark and creepy aura.

I'd like to see something done with the Lizard in a sequal because they've had the character of Dr. Curt Connors in 3 movies now.
